It will come as little surprise to most New Zealanders that the country shivered through the coldest October in 64 years. In its climate summary for the month, the Niwa said the average temperature nationwide was 10.6degC _ 1.4degC below average.

I have lived in NZ all my life I will be 70 in January and normally our cold weather does not bother me - but this year I have never been so cold - it definately was the coldest I have ever experienced. Gosh I used to start swimming in the sea in September a few years ago but now. TY Judy Cross Love & Light
