Sylvia Stolz, who represented Holocaust denier Ernst Zundel at his trial in Germany was convicted for denying the genocide herself and sentenced to 3 1/2 years in prison. She also may not practice law for 5 years.

As Mike Rivero of What Really Happened said:

Now, how does Germany expect their legal system to work if the lawyers face prison time for defending the accused?

Not since the days of the Nazis has Germany seen such bias instituted as government policy.

Truth needs no laws to support it. Truth survives re-examination. Truth survives questioning. Truth survives verification. Throughout history, from Galileo to Zundel, only lies and liars resort to the courts to enforce adherence to dogma.

Do people who think Elvis is still alive face arrest? Do people who claim to have seen Bigfoot have their lives destroyed? Do people who claim to have taken a ride in an alien spaceship languish in prisons? Only in this one area of inquiry does the mere asking of a question bring the full weight of the legal system down upon ones shoulders. Only in this one area are you commanded to believe as you are told without question, with disobedience to be severely punished.

There is nothing new about genocide. It has happened far too often throughout history. But with genocide, the surviving victims usually WANT further examination of the crime. The surviving victims WANT research. The surviving victims WANT all possible evidence unearthed. Only with the history of WW2 are the purported victims seen to fight as hard as possible the examination of the actual evidence connected to their claims.

It is nothing so much as the behavior of the defenders of the orthodoxy that casts doubt on the veracity of their claims. They act as if they have something to hide.

53 people noted this story but only 20 show up in the tally above.

Elgin...what are you talking about? Mentioning bigfoot and aliens in connection with this story is an obvious effort to smear me, especially since I have never posted either a story or a comment about either.
That is really very strange behavior.

Hate to say it, Judy, but the general consensus is that your stuff denying global warming does come across like alien abductions or Bigfoot, so it does cast doubt on your other submissions/posts.

If you both refuse to read anything by reputable scientists, preeminent in their fields that is counter to the false consensus, then you are the ones who are deluded.
It took a great deal of money to get you that deluded. Foundations have poured billions into establishing the false consensus.
Elgin, how you get to bigfoot from Mike Rivero of What Really Happened, is a mystery.

I dare you both to read the paper above and then look at the other papers and articles posted at:http://www.climatescience.org.nz/

BTW, at the age of 70, I have been right on too many things in my lifetime to worry about what the consensus is. All it takes in the era of mass media to produce a false consensus is lots of money. See below:

Madison Ave. Warms to Climate Change
Shops Vie for Al Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection Biz

ByMatthew CreamerandBrooke Capps

Published: August 27, 2007

Not too long ago, a premier ad agency wouldn't touch a campaign warning about the effects of global warming, fearing backlash from the automakers and oil companies that keep Madison Avenue's lights on. But now one of the most hotly contended pitches out there is for the Alliance for Climate Protection, the organization formed last year by Al Gore.

Four elite agencies -- Crispin Porter & Bogusky, Bartle Bogle Hegarty, the Martin Agency and Y&R -- are squaring off for the business and are expected to present to the former vice president himself early next month, according to executives familiar with the review. The budget for the "historic, three-to-five-year, multimedia global campaign," as the request for proposals puts it, is contingent on how much money the alliance raises. Media spending will likely be more than $100 million a year.

That elite shops aren't scared off from crafting environmental messaging that could be tacitly critical of big business's sometimes unsustainable ways is yet another sign of the mainstreaming of green thinking within the corporate world at large. And within the ad community it points to newfound willingness to embrace hot-button social causes. The alliance account, some are saying, could even lend some luster to the winner's roster, given many major marketers' recent embrace of sustainability throughout their value chains, from product development to manufacturing to marketing communications."

Yeah, because we all know that the people fighting global warming have SO much more money than the people who benefit from products and policies that keep things heating up, like Exxon-Mobil.

$100million for an ad campaign to inform people about global warming? Wow, I bet that the oil companies wish that THEY had that much money to spend.

Rochelle, your comments have decended to the kindergarten level of nah nananah na. Do your homework so you can discuss the climate topic rationally.

CO2:
The Greatest
Scientific Scandal
Of Our Time
by Zbigniew Jaworowski, M.D., Ph.D., D.Sc.
The above paper was written by a Pole, with no connection to an oil company.

Easy to understand, full of footnotes and if you think it is beyond your ability to grasp, maybe you shouldn't comment on climate science stories. But remember, climate is about science, not blind faith and media hype!

But I think this is really about creating a diversion from the topic of Zundel's lawyer getting a prison term.
