My 3 y.o nephew loves the Kellogg corn flakes (we live in Indonesia, but we imported the American Kellogg cereals as opposed to the European non-GMO one). I shared this article to my sister so she'll know what's inside her son's food. Thanks for posting!

I stopped buying boxed cereal a long time ago.
If you trust these companies to put nutritious ingredients in their packaging, you have more faith than I.

It really is not a major issue to make your own granola One large batch and you have breakfast for quite a while. Most importantly, YOU KNOW WHAT'S IN IT.
Besides, most cereals on the market, today, have enough salt to raise your blood pressure and enough sugar, and corn syrup (which creates fat) to be consided desserts.

It's not just Kellogg's, and it's not just sugar...

Sadly unless it's certified organic and/or GMO free then it probably is full of various commodity crops brought to us by patented foods. The best way to avoid them is make different choices and not support the companies that would put these substandard ingredients that have not been independently studied.

Do not be their free test Guinea pig and certainly do not offer children up for this.

Every now and then I write to ask if they have GMO's in their Morningstar products (except for the breakfast sausage, they all do).....When they write back, I tell them I cannot eat their product and will be interested again when they stop using GMO's. it's important to keep the pressure on!
