Public debate about the safety of recombinant organisms began in the 1970s. Government bodies were set up to screen proposed experiments and institute safety guidelines. Chief among them was the Recombinant Advisory Committee of the National Institutes of Health. For many years the public was concerned about the safety of laboratory research with recombinant organisms. As research has continued and no safety hazards have become evident, public concern has abated somewhat.

Thanks Daphna for this. I signed and noted. The more we let slide on genetic engineering the more they use it. If they continue, nothing will be natural any more.

The GMO sugars,corn,wheat etc are toxic...as well as the tons of pesticides/fungicides used in the milling process.

Monsanto...Kellogs...Kraft...ADM..etc. all owned by the Queen.

Just a hint. instead of "Boycott Kellogg's" as a headline which makes it sound like you are commanding people to do what you want, you could state your problem "Genetically engineered sugar is being used by Kellogg's" and then people could decide on their own what action to take and you would sound like a more reasonable and credible person.

As I say Monsanto plays such a roll in genetically engineered seeds and pesticides, NutraSweet, Equal, Sweet & Low is also there product. Dad Bush when he was in office went to the Monsanto plant, and agreed to work with Monsanto to supply farmers with Government contracts, not to plant there fields with their own seeds, and they would be paid by the Government by receiving the seeds direct from them, and you also have to plant what they say. This is going on internationally and all over in the US. Pretty Scary. I have been tracking the M for awhile...
