Not in my diet! Virtually no processed food, soda or other sweets - I cook from scratch and that eliminates a vast amount of sugar, not to mention salt (I like my garden herbs) and preservatives - yuck ;-P
Shared and noted! Thanks ;-)

Those pictures say it loud and clear, holy crap. I do drink diet only, and rarely eat chocolate as it tends to give me indigestion now. But, I ate my share p until that started, I admit. My husband is diabetic, so our diets have changed. Thank you.

There is even sugar in the seasonal flu shot...go figure. We know that sugar depresses the immune system.

Sharen, don't drink diet sodas either. The artificial sweetener aspartame is a neurotoxin. To make matters worse the FDA has allowed aspartame to be classed as a "natural flavor" so that reading lables does not good on this one.

I'm going to echo Sharen B. and say, holy crap. Yikes! We eat a lot more fresh fruit and veggies and I make foods from scratch too - including whole grain and soy/flax breads and rolls. Getting rid of prepared foods was a big step in the right direction and it means we can have the flavors we like in our foods (Dill in breads and pastas and veggies, for example). Thanks for the article - stacks of sugar cubes tell a serious story.
