ncluding Mohandas Gandhi in a group of vegetarians seems almost too obvious. Even so, such a list would not be complete without mentioning the famous advocate of non-violence. Gandhi wrote extensively about

I enjoyed looking at this and learning more about these people but I'm always suspicious about these listings of famous vegetarians and vegans. Number one reason is that they often turn out not completely vegetarian or only temporarily vegetarian. Number two reason is that another very famous vegetarian in history was Adolf Hitler. And I find it more important the mark all these people leave on the world and their achievements than to just automatically assume because someone doesn't eat animals he/she is a loving and caring and peaceful human being.

"...another very famous vegetarian in history was Adolf Hitler."
Adolf Hitler was not a vegetarian.

I found this to be very interesting. Great scholars, artist, men of art and a famous woman author. All these people can't be wrong. The life of a vegetarian, sounds like the way to go for me. Can I wait till tomorrow to begin ? I bought Fried Chicken at my local supermarket today - it looks sooo good. I'll be a good girl tomorrow.
PROMISE. !!!!

I also read several times that Adolf HItler was a vegetarian. However I read that he only was vegetarian due to health reasons. There is a big difference just to stop meat due to health reasons or because you simply realise that eating meat does not resonates with your compassion and respect towards living beings in the times we are living in. We shall not forget that we are blessed to be able to be vegan or vegetarian as we have the choice in what we would like to eat without starving to death. Other generations did not had the choice in some parts of ths world, but were respectful and thankful towards the animals that gave their life.
Just to make it clear!!! I'm a vegan out of compassion and respect to all living beings and feeling blessed to be able to be vegan.

there is a brutal killer war in the vegetarian world , i find , at the moment ; it has been taken over by corrupt, satanical , money-making bully killer mafia spies . & - so when vegetarian , more difficult to protect oneself, because pure food makes it easier to be victimized.
am so worried !
