II hope this means there will not be any displacement if you know what I mean, anytime soon... Never would be a very great plus. You have to love these little flippered babies!
It’s sad that extinction is mostly caused due to the hand of man, and less to the natural environment.
So on that note if we could just leave them alone we would not have to see them sitting around zoos living the un-natural life and being a prisoner.

Do they think that being able to see a animal in a zoo makes it ok to widdle down the population on any animal breed???

Thanks Daphna. This is likely bad news, for us and for the spotted seals. I don't trust NOAA because I don't trust any federal agencies any more - too many of them are still chock full of the criminal and corrupt and incompetent people that Bush put there over 8 years of ineptitude and plunder of our resources. Hopefully we will eventually get to some level of government where the employees and leaders and agency heads are competent, capable and honest, but we're nowhere near it yet. We must continue to watch them closely and howl about every corrupt move, dragging each and every agency into the light to make the roaches run. It's up to us and we'll only get good government if we care enough to be eternally vigilant.

This is just sick...what is wrong with these people? We must keep on top of these idiots and make OUR voices heard for these little creatures, because if we DO NOT...we will be seeing another animal go extint way before we do...
