The motto of those two gutsy ladies had to have been: "Don't tell me I can't do it because I'm a woman." They pulled off some stuff in that trip that would have been a challenge for men, but it didn't deter them from their mission. The first half of the century had some remarkable women that were among the first to begin the fight to make the world, at least the US, aware of the fact that women are far more capable than society gave them credit for.
