Thannxx torture definitely does not have a place in society today... if the people are innocent and have been through a process they need to be released on humatarian grounds

Obama promised to close the Gitmo prison, but the problem he ran into is what to do with the detainees there. First there are prisoners there who we have been trying to release for months by sending them back to their own countries, but their countries will not let them come back. Then there are detainees who we do not want to release, but other countries will not house them as Obama assumed they would. Most states here are resisting accepting these into their systems too. So his administration is stuck on this issue and is likely to remain so for some time. It is easy to say we need to close Gitmo, but the reality is that the detainees there have to go somewhere. Remember KSM is in Gitmo now.
