Endorse what, Daphna? The puppet show of 4 people in 12 days completeing "investigation" of a war of 22 days with thousands of participants?

Just to figure out that Muhammed Durah was killed by Palestianians rather that israelis took several years. So now you suggest again to curse Israel first and discover truths later. Well, without me.

Jaclin, preventing Hamas terrorists using Human shields from getting justice is not peace and harmony. It is an invitation to more bombing of Israeli and Palestinian civilians alike.

The blood of all victims on both sides lies on Hamas hands, and Arab states made UN to blame Israel again.

If the Palestinians wouldn't have rocketed Israeli civilians for 8 years there would not have been a Gaza War. If the Hamas wouldn't have brutally thrown the Palestinian Authority out of Gaza after the Israeli withdrawal there wouldn't have been a Gaza War. If the Arabs would have accepted the UN 2-State Partition Plan back in 1947 there wouldn't have been any wars.

So stop using Israel as an excuse for Palestinian aggression and failures. They should instead put their efforts into State building.

My views are relatively left-wing on the Israeli political map, but I must say this:
What most people in the world ignore is the fact that the IDF soldiers go into great effort and often even risk their own lives in order to minimize hurting inocent people.
But when the Hammas uses civilians as human guards, it is quite impossible to totally avoid what most human-rights advocates call "war crimes".
Less than a decade ago there were times when I was afraid to walk the streets in the center of my hometown Jerusalem, or drive through Hadera (the city I then lived near) or sometimes even send my kids to their suburban school because some lunatic from the Jihad or Hammas or Hizballa might explode on the bus or in the school / shopping center / beach etc. Lately that hasn't happened. But people in Sderot and in the Northern Galilee are still living under the constant threat of bombings.
Most people around the world, affected by the media, don't realize the difference in mentality. An IDF soldier will not hurt a Palestinian civilian just for the sake of hurting Palestinian civilians the way the Palestinian terrorists hurt Israeli civilians very deliberately. And if something like that does happen, the soldier is immedietly condemned and often punished. Would the PA punish a Hammasnik for killing Israelis?
Palestinian families are allowed to visit the Israeli prisons. Gilad Shalit has not had a single visit from the UN, not to mention his own family, and most likely did not even receive the parcels that were sent to him.

So who's talking about justice and Human Rights? For Justice and Rights you need to look at both sides!
