Just weeks ago in the West African country of Guinea, countless women were brutally raped in a public stadium when soldiers stormed a peaceful protest. The world reacted with outrage, but Guinea is just the tip of the iceberg.

The United Nations should be held accountable for not instigating action against the soldiers who committed this atrocity. U.N. Secretary General should be asked to explain and address this asap.

I have signed the petition but this is not enough. There must be other organizations that can step in. If anyone knows of them, please apprise the rest of us.

Disgusting ruthless bastards... shame on them... I hope that they are never deployed in South Africa... surely these people should be chosen wisely.. I hope these poor women in these countries will receive justice and counselling..

Exactly what do you propose the UN should/could be doing ?
It is not as if anybody is queuing up to provide the troops neccesary to enforce anything.

Would love to sign this petition but there's no provision for those, like me who live in Canada.
Unfortunately this atrocity is not only isolated to Guinea, there are other places in the world where this happens all the time, right under the noses of the UN, who don't seem to care about the protection of women in danger. As far as the UN officials and the invisible powers which oversee this organization are concerned, it's just another notch in their belts to denigrate and diminish the importance of women and their honourable, yet unappreciated importance in our world society
. We are witness to the diabolical aspects of Man's Law , in contrast to God's Law. Woe betide anyone who either, participated in or condoned this travesty. I pray for those women and their families and hope that justice will be done. Karma does have a way of exacting justice in Cosmic time.
Peace in our Quest for Truth that sets us Free.
