From colorful paintings and detailed line drawings of delivery trucks and mobile homes to actual full-scale bike-and-shopping-cart camper construction projects, artist and designer Kevin Cyr seems (healthily) obsessed with portable housing and mobile liv

I expect there is aspecialist therapist somewhere that could offer support! His designs are certainly worthy of consideration for their beautiful simplicity and brilliant execution. Sadly they would not make too much headway in our petrol demonated (spelling deliberate) society US or UK. However the asthetics and green appeal might earn him a living and the ingeniuty is somewhat reminiscent of the Indian subcontinent with their multutude of assorted carts and much modified vehicles many being pedal powered!

Yes, the bicycle. I have learned that electric bicycles of 300 to about 375 watts are legal on streets without a license.

I have begun to wonder when the world will gradually no petroleum. It will begin with public transportation.

I found out I could buy a bike trailer, which would hold two 175-watt solar cells. This would charge the bicycle battery while I was riding, allowing me to ride for hours on a full charge.

There is so much we could be doing. We could design homes to use a fraction of the energy.

Perhaps the economy will force the world to live within their energy means.

Personally, I think that we will be coming to actually using vehicles like this, just as they do in China, etc. From my perspective, this is very practical. The car culture is going to die. Remember how people lived 200 years ago before the car? Well, when the oil is gone we will return to that. And, if you recall, "alternative energy" devices were in use at that time. They were called windmills.
