Thank you Cheryl ~ Sadly, this is no shock to me. I know this first hand from my Dad that was in WWII and was a paratrooper, goodness what he must of seen and none of his friends knew he was ever in the WAR. TRAGIC!

Really sad ...As Mm M mentioned...no surprise as the things they not only see' , but must do. My dad was also a paratrooper during WW11 and I never heard him say anything other than..he was a paratrooper during that war. No 'war' stories'...no mention other than that basic fact. He just wanted to deal with is thoughts and try and forget it, obviously...and rightfully so no doubt..
