I am in love. To see the Great Wolf safe and unharmed gives me peace. We could have learned much from the wolf: their packs, their love for each other, and the respect shown to all life could have helped us learn why we were placed next to the wolf. We shoot the wolf out of fear, out of ignorance. They belong to Mother Earth, just as we belong to her. Our own hate and fear is making this once proud member of our family extinct. We should be ashamed of ourselves. Wolfs do not kill for fun; they, like we are supposed to, for food. how dare man think we are greater than they. They are our spirit -- kill them, we die too.

Thank you so much for your work Tanya! I know it is a way of life and brings rewards beyond description. I know because I live with a rescued Wolfdog and she heals me every day. They are amazing creatures to be family with and yes, we do need to learn from them. I am so blessed to be part of her life. You are indeed a very special person for them to come to you, however they may have gotten there. Many Blessings, Katherine

This story interests me greatly, but as a dial-up victim, I can't load the YouTube video without investing more than an hour but I ventured to their website for more info. We still have wolves in Algonquin Park here in Canada, but their habitat is in constant turmoil. It's sad that we have to preserve them in sanctuaries, but I am grateful someone has the foresight do it.

Noted..Thanks Kat for forwarding it to me and thank you Angel. This is wonderful for people to hear. Most people do not know about the wolves. What people do not know about or understand they are afraid of and in some cases they destroy.

Awesome thank you Angel! Sadly wolves and dogs don't mix that is why so many are turned over and hopefully find a good sanctuary like Tonya's

That is a great video and a great interview. Tonya you are to be commended for the wonderful work you are doing. The white wolf is just beautiful. People could learn a lot from wolves if they would just take the time to. Their family stucture is awesome. I love and admire wolves they are such loving, beautiful animals

Beba...I'm here in Alska, and fight hard to protect our wolves...and its the politics and greed that is hurting our bothers and sisters.
Sarah Palin needs a swift kick in the royal behind for her uneducated greed and drive for personal greed and power.

I truly believe that all wolf hunts need to band everywhere forever. They are species that can manage not only themselves but the very environment that they live in.

Awesome! Thank you Aimee!
We have so much to learn from the wolves, the teachers, the ones of wisdom and knowledge...compassion and the best examples of raising good healthy children...which leads to healthy community to live in harmony together.
You rock Tonya Littlewolf!

Beba,
Sarah Palin cares for no animals that is a threat to her plan. She is after the big oil money, and the political office beyond the govenors office. She just laughs in our faces.

Thanks for posting this info/video, in more ways than one. I veiwed the first video then proceeded to view the next, and the next, and the next, well you get the picture! I am surrounded by anything wolf, calendars, books signed by authors of research on wolves, any DVD about wolves and wolfdogs, even my personal checks have wolves on them!

Eventually after I get my Wildlife Rehaber. License, I will work towards a higher class one and eventually work with wolves. We have a yearly Wolf Expo here on Long Island every August or Sept., (this year Sept.), and I attend with my daughters and granddaughter.

We're getting the word out to anyone who will listen, (and if I get your ear regarding wolves, you won't need a reference book anymore! LOL).

The Noble Wolf has been demonized too long in Media, stories and legends.Wolves have been here since time began, they are important part of Eco-system.All animals have a main chief that communicates with the Creator"( GOD) I know this might be hard to believe but In my culture, it's true. They are closer to the spirit world,as all animals are,They know when you're coming home from work,so they wait for you by the door..Welcome to Navajo-101.
