I LIVE in London, and when I saw this I just giggled!
The Mayor comes out with a lot of stuff, some good and some not so good, and some just plain unworkable!
I fear that this idea is the latter. Paris, France is far in advance of anything we have here, and the French mentality means that they will stay in advance of anything we do too.
Heavens the councils haven't even sorted out the recycling collections properly yet, so converting housing to green is an added expense the councils will ignore until they are forced to comply.
