Great noted.... we need all of the real information we can get on the H1N1. There are so many things that are completely false about this new strain of flu, that it is causing a major public scare. This business about "our government trying to get rid of some of us, plus about a 100 other silly fake messages and reports, it is difficult for some to figure out what the real things we need to watch for in ourselves and in our children. Most of it is just common sense, from running a fever, to the body aches and pains, as far as signs of the flu. Getting to your doctor as soon as the symptoms appear, and getting on one of the flu medications is your best bet if you get ill. Preventative things such as frequent hand washing, trying to keep out of the public as much as possible, keeping hands away from your mouth, eyes, and nose, avoiding those around that have a cough, or appear to have a flu like symptom situation, eating and sleeping correctly... just common things that keep our bodies able to fight off the flu and other illnesses as well.

If you are someone with already a comprised immune system, such as any kind of autoimmune illness, like Lupus, MS, chronic lung problems, like asthma, heart problems, or other things like even medications, such as prednisone, that weaken the immune system, should be extra cautious about taking preventative measures. I have taken the normal flu vaccine for years, due to immune issues, as well as a heart issue, and the only "side effect" I ever noticed was my arm being sore in the one they give me the vaccine in. I have already had my normal flu shot for this year, I also have had the pneumonia vaccine that is good for 5 years, and I will take the H1N1 vaccine when it become available. Prevention is worth a pound of cure as the old adage goes...

Thank you Katie. This will be a must read for everyone. As usual the media has done its job for the Government and caused widespread stress and panic about this flu. This is an attempt every flu season to distract Americans away from the real politics so they can sneak issues by us without us seeing them.
