More people die yearly of normal flu and now everyone is up in arms about the swine flu.

well, I would just like to say no not so many people die who are 10 and 13 years old and healthy as has happened here in Ontario, my grandson was just rushed to the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario this morning, he may have H1N1, our close friends son is already there for the past 3 days with H1N1, the only way to control this pandemic is to vaccinate at least 60% of the population, the vaccine was not available here until yesterday.........When I was a little girl I knew an elderly lady who lived through the swine flu epedemic of 1918 in the city of Montreal. She told me about her and her friends playing a game every morning, they went out and counted the new coffins on the porches in her neighbourhood that were waiting for the cart that went around everyday to pick up the dead to be burried in mass graves. I ask you this, have you ever seen that with the normal seasonal flu? At the time she said even though I was so very young ( I was about 8 years old) that it was important for me to know......now I speak to you from the wisdom shared with me so long ago.........we must protect the children from this deadly disease....
