Ayn Rand advocated complete egoism, and was completely against social welfare for children, elderly and the handicapped. She had the attitude of "survival of the fittest".
Our super-capitalist global society is based on theories like hers......
Regarding herself, I guess she did not advocate "survival of the fittest" because she loved herself.
She was an anti-humanitarian person.
