Phil Peckinpaugh slid his fingertips along the exposed muscle tissue of Mr. Moppit's right shoulder, gently tracing the area where fur met flesh and dipping into a dime-sized crevice where the maggots had burrowed the deepest.

His eyes look into Mr. Moppit's eyes... that will tell you how he feels, and not what the cuts and maggot ridden body does on face value of this photo.. (which is disturbing)

So small and to have gone through so much. Get well soon Moppit and be happy now because you are safe and loved. Thank you Maria.

The suffering in that little face speaks. Whoever left him.... I can't put it into words. May he now be loved, and taken care of. This world makes me thoroughly sick. People do this because the law protecting animals is virtually non-existent! Eeesssh.
