The ASPCA says 22-year-old Donnell Walters, of Queens, grew so angry during a dispute with a friend in July that he attacked her 4 pound Yorkshire terrier. He is charged with repeatedly hurling the dog to the pavement, snapping one of its leg

If he was so angry at his friend, then he should go confront his friend which by now is his enemy. The dog did nothing wrong. If he wants to vent his anger on something, then he should just have messed up his room or break his cups and plates rather than hurting his pet.

Donnell Walters you ARE a savage and we need to put you behind bars with a hefty fine and NEVER to be near or own any animal EVER!For a starter we should get someone to hurl you scummy butt into smitherine so you won't be able to sit for a while. This is inexcusable and VILE to hurt this animal with such maliciousness.Down with Donnell Walters!!!!!!!!

What kind of person does that? That's only a little 4 lb terrier. He needed to be arrested and he also needs to be made libal for all medical bills incurred for this dog reguarding this issue.

Our Maynard male and our Miki Nanuk are tiny like this wee one.

I hope he has to serve some serious jail time.
I am ever so happy they were able to save this tiny wee,wee ones leg. They are so fragile.
Strong heart and will and love....*S*
My love, thoughts andprayers are with this little one and its family....

What sort of man could harm a defensless and tiny dog like this? A brute and a coward!

He's got major anger management issues and needs to be locked up before he snaps again, next time it could be a child who wanders into the wrong place at the wrong time >.<

Poor doggy :(

Only a coward will attack a dog much smaller than himself. I hope he is going to be punished severely. Well done ASPCA!

Pat on the back for the ASPCA.
What a nasty piece of work the man is to carry out this act of cruelty to such a wee dog. The comment from David B made me laugh :)

I have a little Yorkie/Silky cross and they are all about love, not abuse. Let the punishment fit the crime and drop the poor excuse for a man from a construction crane raised high up a few times. Disgusting cretin!

Great job ASPCA! Hopefully there will be a satisfying prosecution. It is a miracle the precious baby wasn't killed after being slammed. This scum of the earth needs fine, jail time, loss of job, loss of friends, and David's ball bat! What goes around, comes around!

I give a big thanks to the ASPCA.I hope he gets jail time and a hefty fine.I think if they would continue to punish them harshly they might think twice about the abuse and cruelty these sick pathetic pieces of crap keep doing I know that these kind of demented people get it in the end and die a horrific death and go straight to hell!!!!

Attacking a 4-lb yorkie...very brave indeed! Pick on someone your own size, YOU BIG YELLOW BELLY!!

I'm just glad the little guy is okay now-- it all could have gone horribly wrong.
