The emperor penguin, the most ice-dependent of all penguin species, is threatened by the loss of its sea-ice habitat as well as declining food availability wrought by the warming ocean off Antarctica.

That Maria!!

At the site the article states "The Center for Biological Diversity of Turtle Island Restoration Network, today filed notified the Dept. Of the Interior of their intent to file suit against the agency for denying necessary protections...." more at site in article!

Yippe and good for them, hope they can do something to jack the "Interior" around a bit. The ice is melting faster than expected (YA THINK?!?!) no shocker there unless you are living under a ROCK!!!!

May they turn the Federal Building into a huge igloo (put the creatures there) and move all of the present occupants to where these special penguins live, switch places until they get their act together and protect these creatures, not only the penguins, polar bears, walrus, seals, wolves, horses...on and on and on...

Stick these politicans on a island and let them sit around until they get their thumbs out of their kisters and take care of all of these habitat disasters and loss of life from it!
