Hallowe'en seems to have grown around the ancient Gaelic festival of Samhain, marking the end of the light half of the year and the beginning of the dark half.

Courtney, what does your request have to do with Maria's story? I will look at your petition when I am done reading Maria's story as this is her news submitted in case you weren't aware.

That was really interesting Maria, thank you.

Courtney, I wore a uniform to school all my life..lol... It saved allot of kids from being picked on because some of them could not afford clothing that others did, so I am in favor of uniforms as it cuts down on bulling.

I know it's a hassle, but I'm sure you will understand at some point. After 13 or 14 years for me in Catholic school, I hated wearing it, but in the end, I am glad I did. :)
