Ira's story in brief............ I 'met' Ira when I visited Verena, an 'animal friend' on Crete in August 2008. She lives just outside Iraklion, hence the name I gave to the 'barrel' dog who captured my heart. Although I see dozens of 'barrel'

So great to hear a good story ending today. It has been brutal on the internet as far as animals go today. I am exhausted. Thank you for a happy ending!
