This really breaks my heart, and shows me once again how really low,and cruel some humans can be,they are the scum of the earth & not worthy of a place on this planet. I hope they all suffer for their cruelty to these poor innocent calves.....Stop eating veal & stop their horrific suffering.

Thanks, Maria.

This is a terrible story with a funny element, "U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack issued a statement Friday implicating both the Vermont slaughterhouse operators and an inspector from the USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service. He said the agency's inspector general was launching a criminal investigation."

As the USDA fail repeatedly in their jobs to protect animals, eg Tina & Jewel the elephants who nearly died from neglect and were so ill that they were unable to travel, being an example!
