Maria, as a Canadian, this horrific story does not surprise me.

The province of Alberta where the city of Calgary is located, has had very serious infractions with animal welfare in the Calgary Zoo and others.

It's the only province that seems to have no respect at all for animals, and they happen to be the most neoconservative for the most part as well! Interpret that individually if you will.

They abuse animals are under is in constant investigation by the Canadian SPCA.

It's an embarrassment and as far as I'm concerned, that cousin province of mine should be banned from having any type of species due to there horrendous treatment of animals.

This is just another disgusting and embarrassing example on how Calgary, Alberta just keeps going with there abuse, darn them!

They are quite obviously my least favorite province in this dominion of Canada!

Nick I'm sure every Albertan is not an animal abuser or the Calgary vet hospital staff would not have been so concerned for this pup and treated him foc! Hope this guy makes it OK and someone puts the evil eye on the perp!
