A dog, stranded for days on the second floor of a crumbling North St. Louis building seemed ready to jump to her death, Friday. A lot changed in the past five days. The dog, a female, yellow-lab mix, was on the window ledge at 1914 Palm, a shell of a home

Bet that man in the pink shirt adopts her! I wonder if she was left there? If so, shame on whoever left her! I think I'll name her "Lucky Lucy"!!

What I don't understand is why a burned out, abandoned building wasn't demolished. If the property owner wouldn't do it, than the city should take possession and do so. Buildings like that are traps for animals and curious kids!

I'm glad the dog was saved and hope she finds a great home.

My thoughts exactly Elainna. far too many derelict sites around the world and even in our own backyard so to so speak. Then the government claims it has to build on greenfield sites because of the housing shortage! These places are always haunts fo children playing and getting injured or hangouts for criminal activity so there are many benefits in either redeveloping them or clearing them up! Even the for sale board looks derelict in the picture.I do hope the dog is now rehomed!
