Spot on Laura..i'm really straining to think of any good points about Limbaugh...the bad points are really easy..he's a hippocrite (talking about harsh measures for drug abusers..then becoming a drug abuser..hey it's easy Rush..some people might need a little support instead of harsh penalties)..he's a racist..a homophobe..he is politically unaware..he is arrogant..he lacks all empathy with the underdog..he is a privileged whiner..he see's the world in "me me me"terms and acts like a spoilt child..he is a rabble rouser, who has added to the store of racial bile in America..and probably has banged the drum ,which has resulted in racist attacks by more than one of his listener's.
He is truly the soul of the GOP..

I haven't heard any of Limbaugh's shows but have heard lots criticism. One thing that I do agree with, sadly, is that there is racism.

As for segregation, I think it's a brilliant idea, assholes like Limbaugh together on a small island and the rest elsewhere.

Probably the only way to "get at him" is to write to all the advertisers who support his show and say you will not buy their products or services as long as the fund hate speech and lies. The US has been a plutocracy for a long time, and it will be a long fight to achieve anything like democracy. We could start by demanding an end to lobbying.

Freedom of speech has to be the right of anyone in a democratic society - but is the right to criticise those who govern without fear of repression. It is not the right to abuse or incite hatred against others because of their creed, colour or sexuality. No one should have the right to do that in any kind of society - it's a different question entirely. Laws against racism, bigotry or homophobia may not eradicate them, but at least they would stop people like this from spouting their poison. If someone at a football match in Scotland shouted racist abuse, they would be arrested nowadays. And quite rightly. So it doesn't happen much any more and that is a good thing. Nobody, but nobody could go on UK television and talk in a racist manner about anyone. They would be sacked. Not even an employee of Rupert Murdoch, for example, would be allowed to pull off anything like that here. I don't watch TV and certainly wouldn't watch his Sky if I did but I am pretty sure it couldn't happen. I don't know who this Limbaugh works for but I would be surprised if it were anybody much different from Murdoch. Right-wing fascist bxxxxxxxs unless I am much mistaken. Racism should not be given oxygen. It should be totally repressed and racists should face jail in my view. It's that important.

Actually, this really is a good illustration of how we allocate resources badly and fail to hold people accountable. Rush does this to get attention and to get richer, and to validate himself in spite of how damaged and pitiful he is. He does have a right to free speech but has no right to evade the consequences of his choices. It is up to us, all of us, to get him ostracized and to get his followers turned around cut off also. I mean, it's time for us to stop tolerating the advertisers and the followers. The fastest and most effective way to change human behavior is to realign the rewards and consequences appropriately.
We can relegate him and his followers to relative obscurity (where they are not only less offensive from a distance but less effective too). We can start calling out the liars for who they are - and I don't mean politicians in this case, I mean our friends, family, neighbors, colleagues and people in line by us in the grocery store. We must stop giving their lies any air time or conversation time or deference. It is disrespectful of people to lie to me and I don't stand for it anymore because it is a dangerous tolerance to build. We cannot afford to tolerate liars who can vote along with us or who poison the discourse and debate for us all.
Boycotting the advertisers is a good first start, but now we need to move his followers to a fact-based reality where they all take responsibility when they demand rights.
Just a thought.

The Reich-wing depends on Liberal's dislike of censorship to get away with their hate talk.. time to shut down these hate-mongers before they kill Again! Ru$h kept up his hate talk on that abortion docotor until someone made good on his threats.. how long until those nut-puppies try it on Obama? The last time the Bu$h-Leaguers got this crazy was in Dallas in '63.. and this generation of crazies are amped up on Oxycodon & meth!

What comes to mind is doing what is being done with Glenn Beck; getting his sponsors away. I have not idea about Limbaugh's sponsors as i gave up listening to radio a long time ago because of a handicap. For all one knows he might be raising his own endowment from people such as Richard Vigurie. perhaps the best people to investigate this are the people who put out the intelligence bulletin for the Southern Poverty law Center of whom Morris Dees is the head. They investigate sources of hate speech when it proposes acts by organizations. So far I haven't heard of Limbaugh proposing any campaigns but there must be people who call in to do this in response to Limbaugh's comments. If the Center does not have this particular information they should look for it now especially when Limbaugh makes an outrageous statement to monitor who calls in
with proposals. If known Aryan or white nationalists etc call in response or are callers anyhow such facts should be made public by the Press.

Southern Poverty Law Center.

Somehow, despite poor Rush Limbaugh being oppressed, he's a white christian republican who is also a self-made millionaire...there's a success story that's never happened in America (SARCASM). Life must be so rough for him...or, at least it might not be if he weren't constantly spewing forth inflammatory comments to anger & alienate good decent folk who just wanna be left to make decisions for themselves without hurting anybody else.

Rush's father gave him a radio station. But he is a WASP. People say his show is entertaining, I guess like watching Jesus nailed to the cross is entertaining. People who don't think and are simpletons like Rush, he is certainly one of them.

Don't lose sight of the fact that the REAL EVIL is the Corporations BEHIND Rush Limbaugh and others; the entire MILITARY-INDUSTRIAL-PRISON-ADVERTISING Complex. They want to DIVIDE us -- "Divide and Conquer" has always been an effective strategy -- to see EACH OTHER as the "Enemy", divided along racial or sexual or whatever, lines. Just in order that we fight among EACH OTHER; and ignore the REAL enemy, the Super-Rich and the Corporations that want to control us for their FINANCIAL PROFIT.

It can even be said that the shenanigans of the far-Right talk show nuts, are a "useful" DISTRACTION. The Capitalist Corporations, not all of whom are direct, known, sponsors of the shows, BENEFIT when Black & White, Gay & Straight, Immigrants & Natives, etc. etc. are at each others' throats, BLAMING each other. They STOKE this whenever and however they can!

If the White, straight, angry males who form their audiences, for ONE SINGLE MOMENT woke up to who their REAL exploiters and cheaters were.....!!!!!!!

We have to, in the words of a song of the Civil Rights Movement of the '60's, "Keep Our Eyes On The Prize". We have to ACTIVELY push OUR VALUES and be neither intimidated into silence, nor allow ourselves to be distracted and side-tracked from our GOALS for a Better Society. A Society where PROFIT-TAKING is NOT the Chief Value of Human Life.

In the meantime, BOYCOTT all the right-wing-nuts' advertisers! and write the advertisers what you are doing, and why. Don't spend YOUR money where you and your most cherished values are despised and stepped on.

I just want to make a couple of points. First of all there is racism in some blacks against whites and that could have been the motive of the attack by blacks against that white boy, but to blame this on Obama is outrageous. I can recall many years ago in the early 1970s there were constant racial attacks by blacks against whites in N.Y. City which never had segregation. Now I live in Southern Indiana in a naturally integrated area and all the blacks and whites get along very well .I don't think racism is something anyone is born with. I believe that it is taught to people .Even the media can help to cause racial hatred on both sides . I think that Obama is doing everything he can to stop racial hatred on both sides not promote it.

Even as "sarcasm", in a racially-charged context, suggesting America go back to "segregated busses" isn't funny and is VERY offensive "sarcasm".

From a newspaper article {NNPA}:
"The gatekeepers of political opinion on cable are doing nothing to curb the increasingly incinerate and oft times blatantly false rhetoric coming from their political hosts and commentators against political figures of color such as President Obama and Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor....

[Stephanie Jones, executive director of the National Urban League Policy Institute] wrote a letter to the heads of all three of the major cable news networks and NBC for giving the one-sided platform for such incendiary points-of-view.... Jones wrote in the letter addressed to network presidents Roger Ailes of FOX News, Steve Capus of NBC News, Phil Griffin of MSNBC, and Jonathan Klein of CNN: 'Unfortunately, in recent weeks, certain hosts and commentators on your networks have ratcheted up their rhetoric and are actively advancing outright lies, advocating offensive and extremist social agendas and inflaming dangerous elements in our society.'

[Jessica Levin, spokesperson for Media Matters, a media watchdog organization] said that ..... cable news networks must be held responsible for what is said on air.
=================================
Please support those organizations who are FIGHTING BACK on ALL of our behalfs! and, as well as the advertisers and the individual looney commentators, PROPERLY GO AFTER THE NETWORKS AND THE NETWORK HEADS. THEY represent the Big, Big Money BEHIND all this FILTH on the Airwaves.

INFLAMING DANGEROUS ELEMENTS, whether thru so-called "sarcasm" or otherwise, is NOT OK; nor is it "Free Speech". It is the equivalent of shouting "Fire!" in a theater full of already-hysterical people. {When there isn't a fire, only you WISH that there was one.} BMT

This from a guy who said on his show that all drug users should be in prison but then again it was before we found out that he used addicted to pain pills. This from a guy who was stopped at an airport with 20 Viagra's in his possession, the prescription wasn't even in his name but in a doctor's name & he was on his way back from the Dominican Republic where prostitution runs rampant among girls as young as 14 & 15 years old. This from a guy who bragged on his show that he had a great time in the Dominican Republic & wished he could tell his listeners about it. He was Doctor shopping also. This is one sick demented person. They should have segragated buses for guys like him, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity & the likes of them.

IF you read what I wrote, then you see that the comments are out of context! Oh, but IF you take it as gospel as it's presented, then I agree, it's vulgar, HOWEVER, IF you've heard the man, and you're a listener, the fires aren't being fanned because they get it. It's only those who don't listen who think he's got more power and by promoting what he doesn't say for real, you actually bring out the crazies who believe this BS like you do!

Oh, and let's stop the whole them and us routine! If you really want to talk about what gets us nowhere, then doing this to each other is it!

Come on Patricia, so what? Get a new routine! How about preaching about those in office - who represent US, who have done awful things and STILL get voted into office. By comparison, where is your outrage at someone like John Edwards who cheated on his dying wife - didn't practice birth control or protect himself or his family from an STD either apparently, AND has a baby now! How about Charlie Rangle being on the tax committee that writes code and who owes some 60K dollars? Outrage? Hell, we should ALL be marthing on DC, but WE aren't . . . We're sitting at computers, nit picking about BS that Doesn't Matter! Give me a break! Yes, this is funny.

Amazing again how Limbutt can take one small comment and twist it to his own ends.
He is a sick twisted little creature who should be muzzled, duck-taped, and put on display as a weird science project gone WRONG.
I know of no redeeming quality that this man has that doesn't just make me sick. He revolts me to no end, and he warped this article of the bus incident out of context to make his own personal point and make evident just how stupid and racist he really is.

"Police initially said the beating of the white student by two black students appeared to be racially motivated. But authorities have since backed away from that.

All of it was recorded by a video camera mounted inside the bus.

The teens aren't being named because they're juveniles."

MANIPULATED FOR HIS OWN ENDS:\

"“In Obama’s America, the white kids now get beat up with the black kids cheering, ‘Yay, right on, right on, right on, right on,” Limbaugh also said. “I wonder if Obama’s going to come to come to the defense of the assailants the way he did his friend Skip Gates up there at Harvard.” "

Joe just cos he has 20 million listeners, that doesn't make him good, decent or honest. The Moonies cult has worldwide membership..does that make the organistion worthy..or just good at hooking the gullible? If as you say Rush was being sarcastic ,then that is ill-advised on his part..as he is known for being dodgy on race issues, then "joking"about apartheid measures is a fairly nieve thing to do..though obviously his racist supporters got the joke, that their racist master, wasn't really being racist..and these racists will get annoyed when anyone says the guy they sheepishly follow- a noted racist-is actually being racist.
As for "drugs Rush"being the most successful radio host ever, then i'm not sure what measurement of success you are using?I mean Mussolini and Hitler acheived massive support in their prospective countries..but were two of the worst leader's ever.
As far as I've read or heard,Rush plays to the lowest common denominator and without daddy's hand outs,he wouldn't have had his huge advantage's in the radio industry..he ain't no blue collar kid..so how can anyone say that he is "self made" ?Heck if my daddy had been rich enough to buy me a radio station ,to broadcast my views,im damn sure I could present a better show than this privileged eejit.
Limbonehead uses a few tricks..controversy,pretence at being the ordinary American, loud mouthed arrogance, hard line mantra's that appeal to the less educated white's, wild eyed confederate moonshine boys and borderline sociopaths..that takes little intelligence..he is a mouth on a stick, voicing tired irrational, paranoid cliche's and reactionary slogans.
BMutiny I totally agree with you..divide and conquer is a time honoured right wing strategy..and stops people from seeing where the power is..and some suckers fall for it everytime.Rush (slang for amphetamine's by the way..or feeling the ecstatic side of drugs..funnily enough..at least over here in Britain) is a tool of powerful forces.
Yep lets boycott his ass..have Color of Change got any campaigns running on this one? They are pretty effective at dealing with apartheid lovin dicks.

Kudos to to you Panda, I couldn't have said it better.
Just because "the claim that he has 20 million listeners", it's still just a number, and not a true reflection of what is right or just when it comes to someone that uses a sick attitude to express his opinion be believes the rest of world agrees with him. Now that is somewhat suspect in and of itself. He has a big mouth, and he has the opportunity to use it. He is just an angry man with a terrible view of the world. I too heard the show that day. It was a JOKE. He identified it as such. He said that the black kids should not have to put up with riding a bus with racist white kids.
He has a great show, his rating are thru the roof, and I have never heard him try to incite anger or racism. Some of you really ought to listen before making such outrageous charges.
And I really love Bo Snerdly (James Golden) and wish Rush would give him more airtime. And my favorite guest host is Walter E. Williams. It would be really something if a true racist would have African Americans as
both his "right hand" and a guest host. But most of you wouldn't know that of course.

The truth is Limbaugh fuels hate by feeding lies to the American people. Those of you who listen to him have no idea how stupid his statements are. If the truth came out of his mouth, by accident of course, he'd self destruct.
As tempting as censorship is in this case it still is not a good option. We already have censorship in America. Progressives cannot get a story, like sinlge payer, in mainstream media for nothing.
Rush's success is not due to any "skill" but to the poor education and the ignorant masses this country breds and nurtures. He is successful because people don't like to be informed or educated in America they like dirt. Jerry springer, O'Reilly, Limbaugh, they are entrtainment for America. Look at the "reality" shows that are so successful in America. Why? Because they pit people against each other, fighting , lieing deceit, etc..Americans love violence and scandal. Decen people don't make the news. Kucinich never gets interviewed in papaers or tv, because he is decent and intelligent, same with Nader and others. We feed off anger and hate in this country. We encourage an "us" and "them" mentality. Look at the Nation rising up against caring for fellow human beings in healthcare.
We are one of the lowest forms of humanity in this country. While it is not all Americans, it is a lot, possibly even a majority. Whatever the numbers our society feeds on it and nurtures it, we encourage it. If we didn't show and idiots like Limbaugh, O'Reilly, and the like would not have their onw shows. Tehy would not be so successful. Corrupt politicans would not be re-elected again and again. We would drop the Dem.s and repub.s and upport third parties that refuse donations from huge corporations.
We are America. We are uneducated, simple, selfish and greatly lack compassion. Give us fighting, killing, fear mongering, and hate any day. Read the censored papers, see the rating on what shows do well here. Politicians start lies, idiots like Limbaugh feed it to the masses and pit us all against each other while they sit back and racke in the money and politicans steal from us.
We're too stupid to notice.
Limbaugh is a staement on our society and the people of the United States fo America. He is only doing what politicans want him to do and what we like. He would not be so successful otherwise.

I think Jill that you are being a bit harsh. Like Limbaugh you have placed general hate statements on large groups of people. But that is definitely your right. There is not alot of difference between saying someone is stupid because if their skin color vs where they were born
If we don't like what he says, we need not to support those companies / politicians who do.
Censorship is a slippery slope as we will not always agree with those currently in power and who will decide what can / cannot be said.
Without the darkness we would not appreciate the light.
Let these issues boil to the surface, They have remained hidden to long.

People that defend this type of humor, and at the expense of innocent people, and I don't care who Rush Limbaugh uses at the ass-end of his "jokes" he has a sick sense of humor. I can promise you that if the shoe had been on the other foot you all that defend Limbaughs sick humor, and not find it amusing and woukd not join in the laughter would be screaming to high heaven that you were used as well.
The day of excusing loud mouths that find themselves funny at the cost of people they don't even know is done. That is exactly why this type of "humor" IS NOT funny.

Gabrielle ,Jill wasn't advocating censorship..though I would personally censor hate speech.Nel how am I a racist..when I am explicitly anti-racist ?To say that I am ten times worse than someone who is Amerca's own Eugene Terrablanche is hilarious..and Donni i'm sorry if this serious subject bores you..why did you even click onto this article...and then comment on it...thats a bit thick isn't it!?
If I had a well deserved reputation for racism I wouldn't play stupid games of playing up to it..like Limbaugh..he isn't too bright really..unless he really did mean it?There is something behind his thinking..patic as he saw fit to lie about the actual incident that fuelled his apartheid lovin rant..what next eh Rush denies the holocaust..but only for a laugh of coures..and only his ditto head followers get the joke !?

Anyone who thinks that media does not affect the weak minded needs to look at the research regarding how people are affected by getting their world view from particular source..ie Many Fox Spews watchers, still beleive that saddam had wmd's...this is tragic ,scary dangerous definitely..MyKink..the battle for hearts and minds is a serious one..and balancing up the media is essential..and will Ibeleive have a positive effect on the world.
The worlds swing to the right ,has been facilitated by media barons..if Fox began to slowly promote green policies..or lost much of their audienceto progressive media, then the impact would be vast.

Anyone who does not believe in the power of the media to brainwash people should have a look at what Goebbels managed to do in Nazi Germany and he didn't even have television! Rupert Murdoch is a latter-day Goebbels feeding hysteria and lies. Another right-wing fascist bxxxxxxd who cares only for big business and the rich.

What serious subject? A bunch of hysteric Limbaugh bashing over supposed racist comments? Knee-jerk reactionism anytime Rush Limbaugh is mentioned? Comments that ignore context and simply give people an excuse to rant? The same kind of mindless nonsense that is deplorable in those who label Obama a Nazi?

No, Panda, what I think is thick is making silly statements like "well-deserved reputation for racism." And "truly the soul of the GOP." Time for a reality check.

From "Policy and Poetry" Wed. 9/22 Copied and pasted Frank Lornitzo 731 words:

The Losers are the Winners

Posted September 22nd, 2009 by Jon Shifrin

History is written by its winners but co-opted by the losers. Such insidious adaptation is as shameless as it is commonplace. All that is required is some clever sleight of hand. So it is that today’s reactionary is yesterday’s reactionary deploying the language of progress and enlightenment. Too cynical? Hardly.

The farrago of complaints from the right suggests that Armageddon is nigh. The busload of administration czars points to the Politburo-ization of Washington, the bailouts to incipient socialism, and an overhaul of health care to gramp’s early demise. Run for the hills! Or bravely take a stand using the language of yore—and of your opponents.

The sixties is often cited as the cause for much that’s wrong in America, but the rhetoric used to great effect by that era’s social progressives is back in vogue with those who so malign the decade and by extension many of its accomplishments. The civil rights movement spoke of liberation and emancipation. There were “Freedom Rides,” “Freedom Summer,” and Martin Luther King’s famous call to “let freedom ring.” Lesson learned. Here’s House Majority Leader John Boehner on health care reform: “We’re going to have a real fight for how much freedom we’re going to have left in America.” Republican Senator Jim DeMint makes a similar point in his recent book, Saving Freedom: We Can Stop America’s Slide Into Socialism.

Sponsors of the raucous anti-Obama “March on Washington” earlier this month included Let Freedom Ring and The Center for Individual Freedom. Adam Brandon, the press secretary for FreedomWorks, which also helped organize the event, admits to co-opting the left’s rhetoric but not without reason. Conservatives, he explains, are the true inheritors of cherished values once championed by liberals. Proof can be found in an unverifiable counter-factual. “If we had been alive back in the 1960s,” he claims, “we would have been on the freedom bus rides. It was an issue of individual liberty. We’re trying to borrow some from the civil rights movement.”

Brandon’s relative youth gives him a pass, allowing his claims to go unchallenged. But what about FreedomWorks chairman, former House Majority Leader Dick Armey? He was alive in the sixties. Was he at the barricades defending “invidual liberty?” Turns out not. “[Armey] wasn’t politically active at the time,” explains Brandon. In fact, it’s hard to identify one prominent conservative who participated in the defining fight for freedom of their youth. It is far easier to find ones with segregationist bones in their closet.

The past is past but what about the present? How does this sanctimonious clutch of freedom fighters measure up? Quite poorly. Arresting freedom, not promoting it, is the priority for these authoritarians in libertarians clothing. Take gay marriage, a prospect that social conservatives welcome like a plague of locusts. The matter received top billing in this past weekend’s Values Voter Summit featuring a who’s who of out-and-out bigots and mainstream Republicans, which are often one and the same.

The lineup of right-wing luminaries at the colloquium of the aggrieved cautioned against illegal immigration, creeping socialism, and told off color jokes about monkeys running Washington. But gays topped the list of bogeymen. Carrie Prejean, the former Miss California, spoke of being chosen by God to defend “traditional marriage” while author and syndicated columnist Star Parker revealed her hope that all “sodomites” be forcefully quarantined. Meanwhile, the summit’s breakout sessions included “True Tolerance: Countering the Homosexual Agenda in Public Schools” and “Marriage: Why it’s Worth Defending and how Redefining it Threatens Religious Liberty.”

The right knows that intolerance doesn’t sell well nowadays, so it must be sexed up by marketing gurus and focus group whizzes. And why mess with success? If the left got great mileage out of the language of emancipation why can’t the right? Of course, they can. The critical difference is that the civil rights movement actually sought to extend freedom to the disenfranchised while the right evangelizes about freedom in order to promote an often-intolerant agenda that does just the opposite. Some might find such co-opting of liberals’ language shameless if shrewd. Perhaps. But few Tea Party demonstrators were blushing at the recent anti-Obama demonstration in Washington when singing in unison, “This Land is Your Land.”

Mindless nonesense?..kneejerk reaction?thick?Okey lets judge Limbaugh by his words and actions..using several quotes he has made..
1)I mean, lets face it,we didn't have slavery for 100 years because it was a bad thing.Quite the opposite, slavery built the south,i'm not saying that we should bring it back,im just saying that it had it's merits. For one thing the streets were safe after dark.
2)You know who deserves a posthumous Medal of Honour?James earl Ray (the confessed assasin of Martin Luther King..or an ironist to Rush's defenders),we miss you James..Godspeed.
3)They are 12%of the population ..who cares !? Meaning black people.
4)Take that bone out of your nose and call me back (to an African American caller).
Now to my mind and that of any decent person all of these quotes are dire ,offensive and worthy of the John Birch Society..but it is 4)that is most revealing, because here Limbaugh does not even have his 0.0000001% of wriggle room ..ie "it was a joke..you don't understand me..only my drugs understand me"..nope Rush is speaking directly to a black person..
Donni you win the award for America's dimmest dimwit, deprving Dubya of the title for the first year since 2000.Next time do your research eh mate..and don't tell me i'm taking Guru Rush out of context..how the F*** can their be a context to insulting a black person directly with a racial slur?or praising the confessed murderer of the generally recognised, greatest champion of civil rights for blacks, that America has ever known?
Give up Donni, there is too much evidence that Rush is a racist..i've just given the very tip of the iceberg.

While many of us disagree on many issues, I think most of us agree on Limbaugh. He is a disgrace to humanity. I too, do not believe in censorship, but Limbaugh is the exception. The best that could happen to him would be if he lost his job and lost MOST of his money.

For all of you so damned outraged about whatever Limbaugh or Beck says Where the hell was your outrage when the media types and comedians were 'joking' about Bush every single day? Get real, no one lost their job then, and gee, people that didn't like it bitched and moaned just like you and nothing was done to the liberals. Oh, but something should be done now? WTF? Where was your outrage when the Obama's pastor was preaching hatred and exposed before the elections? What about the so-called Green Csar and his rants about 'a$$hole Repulicans?' Is all that okay with you?

Outrage is about lies and liars whether or not they are posted as jokes. Bush and your pal Limbaugh deserve
every bit the got and are getting. .I want Bush to be indicted. He lied not only to the people but to Congress. Lying to Congress is a crime. You are a piece of work

I don't understand how FOX stays on the air. MSNBC dumped Imus for a joke, literally, he was a 6AM radio comic, Rush is a windbag who is the biggest embarrassment on the air next to Glenn Beck, and Bill O'Reilly. HOW does this network not get fined by the FCC for promoting racism, hatred and anti American policies? I filed a complaint w/the FCC about these jerks but nothing happened. Boycotting helps a little because the owner loves money and 61 sponsors dumped beck..Go on line and sign the list to dump beck. What possible moron could believe these guys? Could anyone in America be this stupid. CBS even dumped Dan Rathers for telling the truth about Bush, but we can't seem to get this trash off of the air, why is this? Do they only allow morons on the air now?

well there's racism everywhere and personally i remember being beaten the hell out of by mexican girls when i was in grade school and harassed by them into junior high all because i was white in appearance - they should've asked me - i could've told them that my one of my biological parents is indian but i really doubt that would have mattered.

teenagers are know it alls anyway and whether or not something is racially motivated makes no difference. just ask the parents of the latest teen fatality in chicago - he's black but his attackers were also black.

it comes down to the parents. we can try to fight teen violence all we want to but until those ill equipped parents who sit around having child after child REGARDLESS OF WHITE, BLACK OR HISPANIC or any other nationality, until THOSE parents are addressed and towns and cities start putting the unity back in COMMUNITY again - this will only continue to increase. the news and cities involved always dwell on helping these kids - WHO THE HELL IS HELPING THE PARENTS?

hm. let's ask ourselves:

what would jesus do - IN THAT SITUATION PLEASE?!?

THANK YOU
