Growing sprouts is a great way to get started. They can be grown indoors, year-round, are ready to harvest in one week, and can contain up to 30 times the nutrients of organic vegetables

Urban organic vegetable gardening is totally an answer to many issues -- starving kids; impoverished families that can't make their budget stretch far enough; healthier landscapes; water problems. When I lived in a small condo, my entire balcony was filled with food plants -- lovely to look at and good to eat. Now all we need to do is convince zoning boards and homeowner associations, et al to QUIT requiring non-food trees and water-hogging lawns as part of the required landscape!

> Urban organic vegetable gardening is totally NOT an answer
but only pathetic cosmeticist HOPIUM for the masses, and will remain so, as long as industrial capital(fasc)ism is not overcome and done away with for good

esp. recommendable: fenugreek - ready to harvest in 2-4 days, and easiest-2-grow/sprout
