Nowadays one of the Big ways of trapping us in Debt is through Education. Is there another way? Will we have enough Jobs if everyone is educated? Will Society be more harmonious if All is Educated? Would you like your Children to be Educated?

Thanks, excellent contribution!
Education should definitely be a human right - otherwise the whole idea of democracy is a FRAUD.
Have a look - our education system is quasi the indoctrination of human nature, creating a human that exists in fear and competition and will accept that the only options existent in terms of how to manage life on earth are the ones serves by the political arena as it exists.
So, not only education should be a human right, but REAL education should be a human right: education that would assist human beings in developing the ability to understand not only the practical world we exist-in but also ourselves within it; understanding cause and effect, realizing responsibility for life, and acknowledging that without integrity, respect and honor, human nature as it is being formed by the system will only cause harm and the deterioration of life on earth.

Have to admit...article is lengthy and my monkey mind could only read just so much of it. But definately is thought provoking.
I went to college(circa 1960's) to get a MRS. (back in the day) and not obtaining that, had the notion education = way to support my mate-less life, having "failed" at "catching a husband"who would then "support" me..
Some of my required college courses were a total waste in the usefullness of my future life skills {physics for example).

Yeah, the basics of math, native tongue (for myself aka English) and reading are very important skills and should be free for all. The rest is "frosting" -what you make of it, furthering life skills, love of challenging ideas and personal growth.
Not everyone is up for it.
Lack of interest? funds? Or sidetracked by family drama?
self esteem? At some point the student is cut loose and hopefully continues to learn until the final breath is exhailed.

Education is what provides out future- both for the individual as well as for society.

It's a no-brainer.

Education should be free from head start through college or vocational skills. An educated populace is necessary in today's world more than ever. This is not a new idea, many countries offer free education that are a lot poorer than ours, such as Egypt. A government that does not invest in its own citizens is doomed to failure. We are reaping now what we have sown in our school systems. Overcrowded, poor infrastructure, rote teaching of teachers in out dated bias filled systems and sky rocketing expenses has gotten us to this point. More of the same is going to wreck the planet.

NO, NO, NO, NO! Enough of this "progressive" push for someone else to pay for everything especially when many abuse these alleged "rights". We have "free" public education from kindergarten to 12th grade that turns out uneducated but propagandized losers now!

Each child that grows up affects how life on earth will be for everyone. Therefore it is everyone's business. And the place where the most propaganda occurs is in the heart of every family. When a child in Nigeria can't go to school because Shell has destroyed the rivers and natural habitat and resources with their oil rigs generating money for western families, these kids are in fact paying for the education of western children.

As Laura says : education is a human right. It should be free and open to all from kindergarten to graduating from University. Then in our taxes we pay for the next generation to be educated.

Education is a Human Right, an educated world would not look anything like the one we have and it is through Education that we start sorting out lives deciding who goes on to become responsible for the lives of others. Obviously the criteria we follow ATM to choose and reward those that we place in power doesn't show that education has any purpose at all if not to create competitive psycopaths, so Education Free for All within a global revision of the Education curricula that shall include how to take care of the Earth, the animals and each other to create a world that works for all.

All American lunatics, who think that it isn't necessary to educate our children, probably has little education, themselves, or they are not being truthful.
