Maybe Human Rights go by size -or age, or the ability to earn money, why otherwise children are not recognized their own Rights, who can trust parents to do what is best for the children in the kind of world we live in? We must design alternatives to bad parenting for children together with their human rights or we end up leaving them where they are as the lesser of 2 evils.

This is an excellent series elaborating on Human Rights and deconstructing the nitty gritty of the current problems/violations as well as what it would take to get to real solutions and establish the right to life for ALL - for-real.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights seems to be very lacking, insufficient, and unsupported by anything or anyone.... Was it declared just for show, as a lip service to humanity?... Why are countries/politicians/military able to blatantly abuse human rights unrestrained?

If you don't have a parent to take care of you, you as children are screwed! We can't live in a apathy world anymore, Equal Money Capitalism which will take care of everyone/each other Equally!

When we look at childeren and at the pattern as how they will live their lives, you'll see the future of earth. It should be common sense that childeren should have the best start in life you could ever dream of. What would this place look like if we all had this dream start?

Children are not recognised as equals to adults because we have created a society where we are evaluating every being as "performer" who generates income. Children, we believe, cannot fulfill this role because they have not sufficiently trained to function in accordance with the system. This is generally accepted to be true because we believe that children need to grow up first. Yet - at the same time - we exploit children, as the article shows, for cheap labor and demonstrate the hypocrisy of our reasoning, and abuse of ourselves as life. This has to stop through laying the foundation that children have equal rights as life.

Children don't get any rights. The parents get to make all the decisions until they are an adult, but they are not allowed to abuse them.

I too hope that children get treated properly and that is with lots of love, good care and respect. No one should ever be allowed to abuse them in any manner. It makes me sick to read about countries where they are sexually abuse. Plus makes me angry the countries that make them work like slaves. The abusers should be sent to prison. where they can rot in hell. Thanks Bernard

Love and respect is the keyword here. Adults have to respect children too. Children are such innocent little creatures, and it is up to us to teach them to be good people, show them lots of love, and teaching them to respect each other. Children are our future.
I dearly hope they will do a better job than we ever did.

But like the Human Rights convention, so few people have signed up for it.

Children are the product of the Parents. Humans as Parents are not perfect, hence the importance of the process of Education along with the necessary world-system changes to begin integrating the Principle which is Life in Equality from which all other considerations toward Children in relation to what's best for them will form part of their Educational Foundation. None of this currently exists in any Educational Program, because we have to first understand how we have created this world as the image and likeness of ourselves as our minds, disregarding the physical reality that we depend on in an equal basis.

This means that what we believe is required as 'control' in fact it is only requiring a set of principles that will guide every individual's living from the very first developmental stages. The same will happen with our judicial systems, when living by principle and supporting each other by principle, we will inherently learn how to respect and honor each other as equals - currently we don't because we have accepted and allowed to perpetuate a system of individualism in disregard of the whole - that's what causes the desire for the child to impose their authority/ their way no matter who or what gets harmed or abused. This is just indicating a lack of principles, which is what we propose as the solution to Live by Principle - Equality as Life - and create a world system where this Principle is Recognized as part of all fundamental Human Rights, along with the necessary World-System changes to ensure that this education and the solutions mentioned in this blog are in fact lived and applied.

When living by Principle, you don't need control but only integrity, honor and self respect to live by in Equality.

To Berny P., this whole concept of 'perfect' and 'imperfect' only exist in the human/'adult' mind that wants to define and categorize and separate all things --- where we then fail to realize that there is no 'perfect' or 'imperfect', as everything that exist is in a way already 'perfect' within its systematic functioning, as our existence within the mind as well as within the physical is like a program, like a machine that functions on code, and is, just like a machine, always 'perfect' within and as its design, meaning 'perfect' in how it will ALWAYS function EXACTLY according to how it was programmed.

Thus, the problem here is that for instance the human is trapped in these one-dimensional judgments of reality as for instance 'perfect' or 'imperfect'/'not perfect', as it does not understand its own functioning/programming as a mind and a physical life form that is in and as itself 'perfect' in its pre-programming and predictability --- and will also not ever even attempt to truly understand itself as the program/machine that it really is, and will thus believe that children are for instance 'not perfect' or that 'the human is not perfect' or 'we're only human', when we're really only saying that because we don't have insight in or understand the mechanics of the system/program as the physical body and the mind that we're dealing with, and so, will not understand how to effectively direct a child to produce a result/program that is best for all life in all ways.

Which is why we will for instance believe that we have to 'control' our children, which is a reaction of FEAR because we don't understand why the child behave the way it does in it's, according to our limited minds understanding, apparent 'imperfect nature' -- where then the 'control' that we will try to impose on the child will only create further consequence and will inevitably in fact 'imprint' a 'program' within the child as thought, feeling and emotion as its 'consciousness' that is not best for all, which we will then use as a justification for our belief that 'the human is not perfect', when we don't even realize that we created ourselves that way by refusing to understand the 'perfection' of the programming of the mind and the physical body --- and that, because we had an inferior understanding of reality, we created an inferior reality.

And so, the education that the Equal Life Foundation focus on, will be first and foremost an education of the adult, to assist and support parents in understanding how the program of the mind and the physical reality functions in detail, so they may understand what they are facing in 'raising their child', so they may understand the consequences of their words and deeds towards their children - and so that we can in fact create children that stand equal to our understanding, children that are able to take responsibility for themselves and reality, as per the example of their parents.

When i s a child not child? Sometimes when a child commits a crime it's consideret as an adult, and if it's been a victime it's consideret as a child. I don't know when a child is a child. years ago I wouldn't have stoppe interferring if a child got into a fight, but now I don't know if the children are wearing weapons. If I see a small kid ruining something I just turn around and do nothing as long as there's no harm done to anybody.
