Pat Condell eloquently speaks out against the fox guarding the henhouse in the UN, with women-hating, terrorism-supporting countries being place in charge of human rights.

Pat Condell is one of the few commentators who seem to have a clue what's happening in the world.
No wonder the looney left don't like him.

It's a smart commentary but, for really strange reasons, I have to disagree with some parts of it.

the problem is that the U.S. committees have no coercive power, and those countries are the ones where they most need to operate. They need the legitimacy in those countries' eyes for their words to carry any weight, not in the eyes of the civilized world, and that means including them on the committees. The committees also need to find a way to operate in those countries, which they never will by taking input only from others which cannot understand their insanity (or get away domestically with calling them on it).

Condell is definitely insightful, and the facts and figures he mentions definitely need to be known, but I think he's still thinking of the U.N. as an attempt to build some kind of global moral authority. He knows it isn't one and points that out to anyone who will listen, but I don't think the moral failures that arise from issues of practicality are reasons to condemn it. Then again, the OIC's hijacking of the UNHRC goes well beyond issues of practicality. Those end only at the inclusion of countries like Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as members on such committees.

Very good commentary. All this stuff really scares me, I am not supposed to spread hate posts and I get angry when hate posts against Israel are posted, but the extreme Muslims are really dangerous to all the people and all the religions of this world. Their terror is spreading worldwide!

US has to power of the purse, since the membership fees to pay for all those UN activities depend on GNP and most countries are poor, particularly corrupt and dysfunctional Muslim majority countries at the UN, who are now taking over and making the world in their image ;-)! If US pulled the plug under UN, than all those lying Muslim diplomats would have to go packing home and worry about THEIR human rights THEIR screwed up countries ruled by nasty sharia. Islam itself is the root cause of violence and terrorism nowadays, and sharia ITSELF is a violation of human rights of individuals.

Naturally, as long as we have a Caliph-in-Chief in the White house who is subverting US Constitution and UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which most Muslim countries (56 of them at the UN) REFUSED to sign, the JIhad against Western civilization will continue all over the world, helped by the UN and Barack Hussein Obama. Read Koran to understand why it inspires violence and terrorism nowadays. (www.cspipublishing.com/pdfs/ATwoHourKOran.pdfs

I couldn't watch the video because my protection told me the site was not to be trusted, i.e. that I could end up with mall-ware and other nasties. Has this been put on YouTube ore elsewhere where I can watch it?
