Apologize to Mr. Rizzi now, and ensure your staff is properly trained on respecting passengers with disabilities and their service animals.

Mr Rizzi's fellow passengers stood by him, I applaud them! Yetl the airline doesn't see they have a problem! I'm surprised people still fly with this aiirline, they do have competition or don't they?

signed. All airlines and businesses need to have classes in sensitivity to those with disabilities. That being said, I'm not sure that the Dept. of Justice, who mandates the ADA requirements, has any requirements for how a service dog is treated. If there are no guidelines, then each company will have to develop their own policies. I can't see how a service dog can fit under the airplane seat, but then again, the other passengers deserve to be safe and not have a dog climbing all over them. A blind or visually impaired person can't see so they don't know if their dog is mis-behaving.

Everyone in businesses and law enforcement needs sensitivity training when it comes to animals as well as people. We have to be the animals voice. This was just terrible and you owe all parties an apology.
