We would all live longer if we lived completely on plant life. Also, a side effect would be to allow animals to live out their natural lives instead of killing them for food.

Eating fruits and veggies every day is important and I do....but if I ate the 5 a day like they suggest, I would be in the 'oval office' all day and night! I eat as much as I can for my body without causing a digestive revolt.

There are other kinds of fiber that are also beneficial...psyllium husk is wonderful and when taken daily it helps control cholesterol and regulate IBS.
