Monsanto Virtually Gives Up on Growing GMO Crops in Europe

Monsanto has pretty much given up any hope (at least for now) of selling its genetically engineered seeds for corn, sugar beets, and other crops in Europe, where opposition to GMO food is overwhelming. -- Anti-GMO Europeans can rejoice.

At least most of Europe has the guts to stand up to Monsanto and others of their ilk!
Hopefully they won't cave in under pressure.

Good news
Unfortunately, this is just a "short break" before the next attack...
I presume they will try to use administration tools, WTO, and other organizations to push it again... or to bribe weak gov's in eastern Europe and go in on a "small door"
We can not allow that
NO to GMO!!
NO to Monsanto!!

It seems that Europe has been listening and has chosen to keep Monsanto out of their countries. What's wrong in the US. Once Monsanto moves in, it might be too late.

I really hope this is true. GMO should be banned all over the world.
