Stupid people in this country?!?! AniTa, how can you say such a thing in this "Land of the Free", a country where "Enzite" is still purchased by thousands of "men" in hopes of increasing their "manhood" by magically making their penises grow from taking a pill. *Can't believe you said that AniTa!* A country where a megalomaniac can become president after failing miserably in business, then again failing after getting elected Governor of Texas. Then, after being elected president of the US and making History as being the worst president in History. Then he seeks a second term, and lo and behold - he's re-elected!! And for his second term, he actually wins the Popular Vote! errr...um..On second thought, you might be onto something there AniTa ;)

Barnum (allegedly) summed it up: There is a sucker born every minute (I say "allegedly", as it is also stated by some that Barnum actually never made that statement, but yes or no, it rings of truth). And that statement holds true to the present. If people aren't being suckered into the millions of scams out there, they are suckers with their voting; buying into whoever comes up with the slickest line of B.S. America is filled with the lazy follower: So much easier to buy into the B.S., than to actually desire to find out the facts prior to voting.

I hear you AniTa, and I "feel your pain"- literally, in my neck from shaking my head in disbelief at America's gullibility factor. Those of us with free minds can merely guess as to the "rationale" of such concepts (like one of my personal favorite scenarios: The guy in the rusted out, smoke belching, two decades old vehicle...still sporting a "W" sticker in his back window. Incredible, ludicrous, and damned scary, for those of us who know the difference. But sadly, we are the minority.

we all have change of heart on issues and change of mind. just 6 years ago so many Said yes to the war because they saw it easy or followed along with what was on TV.

I simply think we need to focus on where the war began, Afghanistan...it does not make people stupid. Just misinformed and influenced by the masses

I agree in a place where we can like what we want and not made to feel bad because we do not "fit the norm of society"

I think we need to get McCain in, or Huckabee...they're the only two that I know are pro-life and kids now even younger than me are just having sex and killing their children, they don't think it's murder but it is...don't let that happen, McCain and Huckabee, the way it should be!
