?...when it comes to terrorism, an issue that's fast rising among Christian conservatives' concerns, she has no doubt Mr. Giuliani has the credentials to be commander in chief....

I still find it very difficult to give Guilaini any credit for being mayor of a city that was attacked twice by the same terrorist the same place.......makes him such a hero......I'm not sure this is the kind of "leadership" one truly wants in the White House.

Electing Guiliani as president just because he was mayor of NYC on 9/11/2001 is like making someone the fire chief because they lived in a house that burned down.
And, since people have been using these comment pages to push their favorite candidate, I am going to ask the readers to take a look at Bill Richardson's web site. As far as I'm concerned he is the only candidate currently running from any party with the breadth and depth of experience to provide the leadership this nation so deperately needs. I will not say that I completely agree with him on every issue but neither do I totaly agree with any candidate.

This may seem strange as a resident of a country that has a Monarch who is head of state and head of the 'Official Church' but I passionately believe that religion and politics should be kept strictly separate. As a retired teacher I would be completely unable to teach 'creationism' as I am a scientist and athiest. Religion should be taught at home, it is a family matter. In any case, which religion is the correct one. I have practiced Christianity, lived among UK Muslims (I was the religious, ethnic and racial minority) but was always treated with respect and dignity.
I have always felt that no matter which Political party I vote for the Government always wins, but my greatest fear is that there are so few people voting, and believe if you don't vote ( or attempt to do so) you have no right to complain at what any Government does. I believe it isn't how people vote that is important, but voting is important.
In a democratic society we all have a right to lobby our elected representatives, I also support NON-VIOLENT political action eg. marching, holding a rally. The fewer people who use their right to vote the easier it is to get extremist parties and policies through the system. crazybint

You are all right. Remember 'Mrs. Robinson'? There's that line about 'going to the candidate's debate', followed by...'every way you look at it you lose'.

We all agree we need to stop the Republican Party, and the Democratic Party has not stopped the bloodshed in Afghanistan and Iraq. I am beginning to believe it doesn't matter so much who we vote for as long as they end the status quo in Washington. Green party, Libertarian, Balanced or Natural Law we need real change.
