Even if you live in a city hundreds of miles from the nearest factory farm, there are still lots of reasons to be concerned about who is producing-and how-the meat and dairy products you and your family consume.

Absolutely, so many of these need to be investigated and health inspectors should be more proactive in visiting these farms

What drives me crazy about this, is that all common sense would tell a rational being that putting these tissues into an HERBIVORE's diet was crazy. Then there is the poop. There, I said it. did anyone pass out? That is what they get from chickens to feed to cattle.????? insanity.
Finally, all that poop from whatever animal (including us) could be put in covered tanks that oxygen cannot get into, be 'digested' by anaerobic bacteria, and converted to methane, which is then burned (no dangerous residue) and turned into ELECTRICITY. In fact, if you look it up, there are many dairy farms with 400-500 cows SELLING electricity back to grid after using it for ALL farm needs!! What is left after this process is completely devoid of bacteria like E. coli, and is a safe, really great fertilizer. EVERY farm could be self-sufficient in energy, and feedlots could be pumping huge quantities of electricity into the system.
Guess that is just tooo logical and efficient and simple.....
