I hope that Care2 understands that this alert system is no good for the petitions.Message boxes are crowded up.

Ty to all that forwarded this. I have been wanting to say something for awhile now Trudi, but thanks to your post, I can now air what I feel..
I love you all and all of the causes, but ever since Care2 did this new action alert thingie, I cannot keep up on my inbox messages.
I would love to sign them all, & I usually wind up taking 2-3 doing it, but I need to make some time for other causes here & my groups. So, I ask that yes, indeed, please get rid of this new feature, I am not thrilled with it.
I am not trying to hurt anyones feelings here either, just needed to let you know it gets really overwhelming when you receive the same action alert from 4 people already, when I already signed.
So, please, please do away with this feature...I thank you in advance.
And to my beautiful friend Trudi, YOU ROCK GIRL! I do not post articles, so this is great work!!! Totally noted hon.

We are in many wanting a change in this action alert system.
This is everybody's chance to speak up.
Ask your friends as well to sign.We have the power to change it.
We all want to get back to business on Care2,the way we used to,before Care2 introduced this action alert system,don't we???

Guys know I love all of you but yes I get pretty dominated with action alerts that I have taken care of but they just keep flowin in like a river on a rampage...LOL Thing is I am the type that will e-mail you back letting you know they are done but I am going to have to quit that for it takes up soooooooooo much of my time nowdays...I like to be personal with all my friends but it is getting to be too much on me...Everyone be aware I do sign them all or should I say most....The ones that have legit targets now...if they dont I cannot sign..But I think we are all havingthis problem and it needs to subside so we can reflect more on our news posts, and our group casues...dont you think??? I have and get so many e-mails I cannot even do for my groups in a proper way...So gorilly is so torn....Oh and this is signed earlier in the day...think Hans sent out...see I cant even remember...Gorilly is loosing her mind....

ya-a-a-ay!!! I love signing for everyone and I love supporting all heartfelt actions, but I really need to be able to just delete the duplicate messages, thanks for this!
I don't mind getting action alerts but when I'm working during the week & log on there are hundreds of messages & deleting these takes me hours. I currently have Inbox (8584) messages & there is no way I'll ever see most of these or even delete them because there is too many to go through.
This is sad because I'd like to but I am only one person :(
Is there an action group here on Care2 that we can belong to? If not can someone please start one so that we can view messages when we have time.

Since it did not have a high priority so far....but it should have!
We all want to make a bigger change! i want to see how i can get the Green Party in Austria to free the animal terrorists or activists or how do you call these guys and girls that care about animals too much....???
Thats what we need our time for for making a real difference!
TRUDY you ROCK! Maybe we can start more direct mail actions instead of petitions! Mailboxes that are being filled with action alerts...LOL!
Make sure the mailboxes are in ICELAND AUSTRIA JAPAN CANADA USA or whereever actionalerts need to make a wakeupcall!

I submitted this news about 1 and a half hour ago.After that I sent it to all my friends.In the meantime I receceived 14 action alerts!!!
What more must I do to reach those people that keep on sending them?
And Mary,by having 1409 friends,this action alert system must be living nightmare.

If we would use the time that we waste for deleting messages and spend it on sending mails to save the whales the killing would stop in 2008 because the action alerts would kill the mail servers in the governments all over the world!

I think you're right Vicky.This absorbs a lot of time.No time left to visit our groups,no time left to write personal messages,just trying to check all those messages,because there are messages among them we do not want to miss,and than at the end deleting messages without reading because time is limited and messages keep on coming in.
This not what we want.

Noted and signed. It really would be nice not to get so many extra of the same email. I don't have a problem reading, noting and signing but it does get overwhelming sometimes. I can get anywhere between 25-50 emails within a 1hr period.
