How Trees Save at Least One Life Each Year in Major Cities

Trees act to remove tiny particles from the air that would otherwise end up in people's lungs and cause respiratory and heart problems that can shorten lives and ultimately be fatal, new research shows.

Unfortunately, many trees in cities (certainly here in Vienna, where I noticed --shocked a bit-- years ago that many of the trees here have less life-expectancy than i do; and it got even worse since) are not doing well, are quite sick, or dying. Or dead. Which isn't much of a surprise, given the pollution (chemical (NOx, O3, ...) and electromagnetic) they have to suffer ...

Yes David, we must be more carefull with pollution and Electromagnatic. Use less of everything and try to avoid wireless devices.

My lungs would like to say thank you to the trees in my city. But these particles can't be good for the trees either.
We should be limiting vehicle circulation in cities like they do in London (England) to limit this type of pollution and its concentration in city areas.
