From Chicago's leading columnist, here is a great take on the lighter side about Barack Obama's senate seat replacement. Includes history of a true spectacle in 1856. A must read!

John Kass is not afraid to tell it like it is! Hope you enjoy this post as much as I did.

FYI: When you visit the site, you need to scroll down to get the story. For some strange reason, it's not at the top with the ads.

Noted ...thank you Janet. It seems in today's politics it's the citzens that have VISUALLY been hit on the back of their heads and beaten...

Thanks, Suzanna, Joycey, Joyce, Laurie, Dalia, and Jossie, for your great comments. You're right, Laurie. Today's politics is terrible. John Kass sure knows how to shed humor on a serious problem though!

Hope Illinois' exposed corruption opens the door for us to get our Vision First form approved.

Noted. It is all a comedy. Unfortunately, not all the results are funny. Ah well, that's politics.
Thanks, Janet.

Thanks Amena, Mary, Mike, and Michael for your comments. Glad you enjoyed the post by my favorite John Kass!

Illinois really should be proud of its comedy. Didn't "Second City" originate in Chicago, home of Crook County? LOL

Thanks, Tere and Charles...

That spectacle from 1856 is unbelievable, isn't it? Wish I could have seen that one!

Did you see John Kass today? Check this story out for Part Two as the drama unfolds..."Obama serves Reid taste of Chicago Way."
