FYI: Governor Blagojevich VETOED Illinois' eye exam bill in August 2007. He wanted to reduce an eye exam to a glorified vision screening! Lawmakers overrode his veto into law.

Now Vision First is trying to get our form accepted as proof of an eye exam. The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) is ignoring our efforts.

Please sign this important petition.

Let's show IDPH the Vision First form is needed and should be accepted.

I would like to know who this egotistical guy thinks he is...he has the gall to think that he would get away with something like this..this morning's Today show mentioned that his wife is just as involved in all of this mess...people are suffering, many homeless & this jerk tries to pull of this scam..what a scumbucket he is...hope this doesn't get kicked out because I called him that...thanks for the article Janet...noted

I agree with you, Joyce. Times are tough. There are many people hurting right now. We certainly don't need government leaders taking advantage of us.

In 2003, I was proud Blagojevich signed Amy's bill into Illinois law. Four years later he vetoed the eye exam bill. That's when I knew something wasn't right with this man.

I am embarrassed for Illinois right now. Shame and disgrace has been brought to our state. Thank goodness our president-elect is from Illinois. Hope he'll restore our good name again.

In the meantime, I'm going to use this as a bargaining tool to get our Vision First form approved. That round hole just got bigger for our square peg!

I agree with you , Mike, that our lovely Illinois governor is about as corrupt as they get. Hope the truth and justice opens the door for Vision First now.
