The work of the Information Warfare Monitor initially focused on allegations of Chinese cyber espionage against the Tibetan community in exile, and eventually led to a much wider network of compromised machines, the Internet-based research group said.

Thanks for the news. I would not mind so much if my cyberstalkers would just stick to observing what I type. But it is irritating when they type along with me. Sometimes they remove things while I type. Often, if they don't like what I type, they just freeze my computer or make it run real slow. If they don't want me to access a particular website, they put up a fake page saying the site is down for maintenance. (I have proof of all of this, or I would not say it.)

I'd trade my aggressive cyberstalkers for some who just sit and watch any day! Take a look at my Care2 page when you get a chance. It has what is left of a memo I posted at the bottom of the area where we post graphics, etc. It has part of the first sentence. While I work on the top of my Care2 page, the data is often being dragged off the bottom of the page. I know it sounds wild; that is why I had my nephew to watch and film it while it happened. Sometimes, a border appears around text that will disappear later. Sometimes, as I type, these words would appear in red "FLAG THIS." I can check later, and the data is gone! (This started years before I joined Care2 last year, and it happens even when I change computers.)

Yesterday when I worked on an article (at another site), some links were removed before I hit submit. You might recall several months ago I found out some of my articles were being "parked" with an Internet parking service. Apparently, if someone does not like what you write, they can pay to have it "parked." I don't relly know what is involved. I just screamed all over the Internet about it and I think most of mine were released. One of my articles disappeared altogether, though. I had also posted it to Care2 News - just an excerpt. But the link no longer took you to the article it should, because that article had been DELETED, and the link was re-directed to another of my articles.

One of the worst nights was when my article about H.R. 645 was posted at Care2News Network. Somehow, the cyberstalkers made the link not be to my article, but to a source article that was a link cited within my article. Did you read that? H.R. 645 is a bill pending in Congress for 6 internment camps to be financed in the USA - some sort of "emergency centers."

If y'all have quiet cyberstalkers that simply watch what you type (and I believe you all do), then count yourselves lucky. Mine are BUSY!

sounds like someone forgot the golden rules of the internet :)
A great antivirus/spyware package (several is evcen better)
NEVER open an email you dont know who its from.
ALWAYS scan email before opening even fromm know senders
And last but not least if you think you have an infection (read- virus , spyware, trojans etc) then you probably do. Even the best antivirus/spyware software packages wont find everyting which is a good reason to use several. If you followed these simplle rules religously then youd find that the rate at which your system gets "infected" will greatly diminish. If you educate yourself on what "hackers" do then you stand an even better chance of heading them off at the pass as it were. Good luck :)
