Scientists have discovered that there are actually differences in the way women's and men's brains are structured and in the way they react to events and stimuli.

Scientists have only just discovered this? They don't get out enough.

I have been hearing these things since the seventies. All I can say is, if it is true, then I have a male brain. At least in language, math, and spatial ability.

maybe, in general, these hold true. but, i've always excelled in math and science, i've had more male friends than female, i don't express emotions... i solve problems, and i don't go to the doctor. i'd rather be outside with my trusty chainsaw than cleaning, and yet i look entirely feminine. as girls grow up with fewer gender expectations, i think we'll see these stats change.

This doesn't sound that ground-breaking...i agree with John. I think scientists should get out more.

My Wife says that these differences are just excuses. LOL She is a fantastic allrounder, organiser and get things done type person. She has many abilities that i struggle with. She has worked for twenty years with children that are dysfunctional and for want of a better word "retarded". She has the fantastic capacity to "know" what the child is trying to communicate even though they are unable to talk and they love her. Unfortunately, when she comes home she expects me to be more than perfect. Terribly frustrating for her and me.
Maybe I should stop speaking and she could then understand what i am trying to say.
