Estadidad para Puerto Rico (Statehood for PR)
With this petition we (the citizens of Puerto Rico) want the President Elect of the United States of America to know that we want our Status resolved regardless of the letter sent by the current governor of Puerto Rico, declaring without any consent that Puerto Rico does not want the Statehood. The current Governor of Puerto Rico, Anibal Acevedo Vila, who was running for a second term, was clearly rejected by the citizens of Puerto Rico on the November 4th elections, therefore he has definitely no saying on what WE want. WE, THE CITIZENS OF PUERTO RICO WANT STATEHOOD!
Con esta peticion, nosotros los ciudadanos de Puerto Rico, deseamos informarle al Presidente Electo de los Estados Unidos y al Congreso a que ayuden a resolver nuestro estatus, a pesar de la carta enviada por el gobernador de Puerto Rico, declarando sin ningun consentimiento de los ciudadanos de Puerto Rico que NOSOTROS NO deseamos la estadidad. El gobernador actual de Puerto Rico Anibal Acevedo Vila no tiene en estos momentos de hablar sobre lo que los ciudadanos QUEREMOS debido a que en las pasadas elecciones fue derrotado grandemente cuando corrio para un segundo termino. NOSOTROS LOS CIUDADANOS DE PUERTO RICO QUEREMOS ESTADIDAD.
With this petition we (the citizens of Puerto Rico) very respectfully want the President Elect of the United States of America, the honorable Barack Obama to know that we want our Status resolved regardless of the letter sent by the current governor of Puerto Rico, declaring without any consent that Puerto Rico does not want the Statehood while trying to sabotage the relationship between President Obama and the Governor Elect of Puerto Rico Luis G. Fortuño, who like the President is looking for positives changes for Puerto Rico. The current Governor of Puerto Rico, Anibal Acevedo Vila, who was running for a second term, was clearly rejected by the citizens of Puerto Rico on the November 4th elections, therefore he has definitely no saying on what WE want. And We, the citizens of Puerto Rico, want our Status resolved, We want Statehood for Puerto Rico. We will greatly appreciate any legitimate effort toward this goal. Thank you.
