Oneida County Animal Humane Officer

Oneida County NY has no one to investigate animal abuse. Animal control / Dog warden's do not have the authority to seize animals, arrest people who are abusers or investigate.these horrendous crimes against animals. Police officers do not specialize in animal laws, police specialize in people. Crime is a huge job and because of crime among people police do not find animal abuse to be a priority. An Animal Humane Officer specializes in animal laws and has the authority to arrest people, seize animals, investigate animal cruelty and ultimately make sure that animals are saved from these horrific crimes. Abused Animals in Oneida County NY have little to no hope for rescue. People who abuse animals need to be arrested prosecuted and be brought to justice. It does not matter how strict of laws NY has if there is no Animal Humane Officer to enforce these laws and make cases so animal abusers can be prosecuted to the FULLEST extent of the law. It is a fact that most rapists, child molesters, and serial killers started abusing and torturing animals before they ever started to abuse torture and kill people. If we can stop animal abuse by arresting animal abusers we could essentially stop a serial killer,rapist or child molester in the making.
