Removal of Coach Broadwater from Mountain Ridge High School Athletics.
Coach Broadwater's actions while employed by the Allegany County School Board have concerned many members of our community, both young and old. Her intimidation, belittling, verbal & mental harassment has been witnessed by numerous people who feel he is not welcome at Mountain Ridge High School. Several athletes under the coaching of Broadwater have suffered both emotional and physical stress. This has caused many students to end their high school athletic careers. Whether or not the students are star atletes, no coach should have that effect on anyone. Coach Broadwater has maintained this behavior for over 20 years now. with only four girls on their Varsity Basketball team that are juniors or seniors, the question is raised who is being protected? The students or Coach Broadwater?
