We, the Libyans living in the United States, condemn in the strongest terms possible the recent attack by a small group of lawless individuals on the US consulate in Benghazi and the killing of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other innocent Americans. Humanity, Libyans, and Islam reject transgression against innocent people, and when the victims are those who extended their hands to help at times of need, the sorrow is indeed more devastating. We express our deepest condolences to Ambassador Stevens’ family, and to the families of the other Americans and to all American people.
