I never did get answers from Patricicia for some questions I asked a while back.
Since B.O. is now president elect, do you have answers yet, Patricia?
So where does he really stand? What does he really stand for? Can you tell me what his "changes," are? Can you tell me what his fundamental beliefs are?
Have you figured it out yet? LOL!!
John McCainJohn McCain (71, Republican) comes from a family of Navy officers. He served as Lt. Commander in the Vietnam War where he was injured when his plane was shot down in North Vietnam. He was taken prisoner of war and remained so for five and a half years, during which time he endured daily beatings and solitary confinement. He went on to become a Captain in the Navy and upon his retirement, ran for Congress. Four years after his first Congressional victory, he ran for U.S. Senate and is currently serving his fourth term. Justin,
Don't worry about folks like Eric. McCain served our country honorably. He suffered at the hand of the enemy to give people like Eric a voice. What an unselfish act. I wonder what Eric would have done in his place?
As for Obama, inheriting probelems from a former administration is nothing new. My bet is, the same liberal media that helped get him elected, will be his strongest critics. Just wait conservatives! The liberal's who elected Obama will be the first to cry foul when he screws up! Somehow, as is tradition, it will be the fault of the conservatives. LOL!!

Eric, you should never say he deserved to lose, john mccain has served this country honorably for many years. There is not doubt that barack obama out-campaigned mccain by a landslide, but he did have a ton of more campaign money too. I agree mccain didn't run a good campaign, but you shouldn't say he deserved to lose to a man who has served our country well for so long

He deserved to lose, especially to such a stellar opponent as President-elect Obama. Senator McCain ran one of the ugliest, vilest presidential campaigns in recent history (and some of us can still recall a character by the name of Nixon). That said, I hope he can make a viable contribution in the upcoming Senate - the countless troubles our new President has inherited can't be solved by Democrats, acting alone.

Even though i disagree with his policies, and the connections he has with certain people, who need not to be mentioned, i hope Barack Obama can lead our nation successfully, can turn our economy around, and keep our nation safe. Although everyone knows that he can't do it by himself. Hopefully our congress can help too. It was a good race, and even though who i support didn't win, i wish Barack Obama luck.

Had to share the prayer Amy found.
O God, we acknowledge you today as Lord,
Not only of individuals, but of nations and governments.
We thank you for the privilege
Of being able to organize ourselves politically
And of knowing that political loyalty
Does not have to mean disloyalty to you.
We thank you for your law,
Which our Founding Fathers acknowledged
And recognized as higher than any human law.
We thank you for the opportunity that this election year puts before us,
To exercise our solemn duty not only to vote,
But to influence countless others to vote,
And to vote correctly.
Lord, we pray that your people may be awakened.
Let them realize that while politics is not their salvation,
Their response to you requires that they be politically active.
Awaken your people to know that they are not called to be a sect fleeing the world
But rather a community of faith renewing the world.

Prayer con't
Awaken them that the same hands lifted up to you in prayer
Are the hands that pull the lever in the voting booth;
That the same eyes that read your Word
Are the eyes that read the names on the ballot,
And that they do not cease to be Christians
When they enter the voting booth.
Awaken your people to a commitment to justice
To the sanctity of marriage and the family,
To the dignity of each individual human life,
And to the truth that human rights begin when human lives begin,
And not one moment later.
Lord, we rejoice today
That we are citizens of your kingdom.
May that make us all the more committed
To being faithful citizens on earth.
We ask this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Keep doing everything you can to get like-minded voters out to the polls tomorrow! Our country's future depends on it!
Also, not sure if anyone is interested, but if so there is a great prayer for the election at www.prayercampaign.org
Remember that no issue is greater than life itself! We need to protect life at all costs, and educate young mothers before they make uninformed "choice!"
God Bless you all as we do our part to ensure victory for McCain/Palin tomorrow!!

An interesting look back....
"People who are crippled take a long time to get to their feet -- sometimes years," said Franklin Delano Roosevelt, a man eminently qualified to nurse America back from the debilitating scourge of the Great Depression. Bound to a wheelchair for most of his political career after contracting polio, he served an unprecedented four terms as one of America's most effective and popular chief executives.
John McCain was disabled serving our country. His disability makes him the best qualified to serve our country yet again.
