Sorry Carrie but I think an Obama Richardson ticket would be the best one especially with Richardson's experience with negociating with foreign countries. I honestly can't see how an Obama/Hillary ticket would benefit his administration .I think Richardson is the much better choice for the task at hand after all the harm that Bush has done to our relations with foreign leaders around the world. We need someone with that experience and Hillary just doesn't have that experience in foreign affairs.
Barack ObamaBarack Obama (46, Democrat) grew up in Hawaii with his mother. His father was born and raised in a village in Kenya, and returned there after attending the University of Hawaii. His mother grew up in small-town Kansas. While at Harvard Law School, Barack became the first African-American president of the Harvard Law Review. After graduating in 1991, he practiced law in Chicago as a civil rights attorney and taught constitutional law. His advocacy work for the poor lead him to run for the Illinois State Senate, where he served for eight years. He was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2004, where he has focused on veteran's rights and non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction as well as ending dependence on foreign oil. He believes the key to a successful America lies in fostering bipartisan success by finding areas of common ground. He and his wife Michelle have two daughters.

Senator Obama supports implementation of a market-based cap-and-trade system to reduce greenhouse gas emissions with goals of 1990 levels by 2020 and 80 percent below 1990 levels by 2050. Senator Obama pledges to reduce dependence on foreign oil and nonrenewable, polluting sources of energy. He also supports increased investment in energy efficiency and advanced clean-energy technologies, including biofuels, clean coal and nuclear technology. He also has proposed a jobs program for emerging green tech industries.

Senator Obama opposed the war in 2002 as a state senator. He supports ending the war in Iraq (withdrawing one to two brigades monthly - roughly 2000-6000 troops with redeployment completed by the end of 2008). He supports refocusing on regional challenges, transforming the military to meet current threats, stopping the spread of weapons of mass destruction, renewing alliances and partnerships and strengthening impoverished countries. He also supports engaging Iran and Syria in direct dialogue and has been outspoken on Darfur.
Senator Obama supported the reauthorization of the Patriot Act in 2006 with revisions addressing civil liberties and improved judicial review. He is supportive of affirmative action and he supports lesbian and gay rights, including civil unions (but not same-sex marriage) and federal hate crimes legislation.
Senator Obama's goal is to implement affordable, portable health coverage for all by the end of his first term. His plan would create a national health program with subsidies, an insurance exchange to reform the private market, and would expand Medicaid and the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). It would not mandate coverage for all.
Senator Obama believes in giving more funding to schools and demanding more accountability. He is committed to making our schools stronger and believes we must help the poor and struggling districts in rural and urban areas. He supports reforming and fully funding No Child Left Behind, improving teacher pay, expanding the Head Start program and making college more affordable through increased Pell Grants.
Senator Obama's economic platform includes several ideas to support low-income Americans, including the creation of a Department of Urban Policy, finding work through training and subsidized wage-paying jobs, expanding the Earned Income Tax Credit, increasing the minimum wage, creating affordable housing and curbing predatory and fraudulent lending practices. Senator Obama opposes CAFTA - the Central America Free Trade Agreement, and thinks NAFTA should be renegotiated.

Has anyone seen Rush Limbaugh lately on TV spouting how proud he is that Republican's followed his suggestion and voted for Hillary and cause infighting in the Democratic candidates blogs ?
He is proud that him and his Republican friends corrupted the voting system by voting in the primaries for a candidate they thought they could beat in November then switching their votes in November .Is there no end to the corrupt Republican party and their voters who followed suit in this election? They hoped to divide the Democratic party supporters and Limbaugh thinks Republican's have done their job well.
I say lets show them they can't split us with all this infighting.

Ha! Best endorsement in these comments.
If you're upset wih the government forcing you to buy insurance, is your car insured? What happens if you crash into one of us? Do you just prefer to bail on your social responsibilities? Lots of conservatives seem to think that's OK, but to me it's anti-American, more in line with oppressive dictatorships than democracies.
