Ron Paul Fights On

"Although Senator John McCain has been the Republican Party’s presumptive presidential nominee since early March, Congressman Ron Paul has continued his campaign for president. “Victory in the conventional political sense is not available in the presidential race,” Paul told his supporters in March. Yet he also said that “many victories have been achieved.... The most significant achievement of our months of dedicated efforts has been the degree to which the message of liberty has spread.”
Paul and his supporters continue to use the presidential campaign as a means for spreading their message of liberty, and voters continue to proclaim their support for that message by voting for Dr. Paul, despite the fact that McCain has been the presumptive nominee for months. In the April 22 Pennsylvania Republican primary, Paul garnered 16 percent of the vote, his highest percentage in a primary to date.
The message is also making Ron Paul a best-selling author. His new book, The Revolution: A Manifesto, debuted at number seven on the New York Times bestseller list and then rose to number one the following week. He dedicated the book to his supporters. “I have never been more humbled and honored than by your selfless devotion to freedom and the Constitution,” he wrote. “The American Revolutionaries did the impossible. So can we.”
Ron PaulRon Paul (72, Republican) is a 10th-term U.S. Congressman from Lake Jackson, Texas. He is a physician with a specialty in obstetrics/gynecology and served outside the Vietnam War Zone as an Air Force surgeon. He is a staunch constitutionalist, only supporting legislation that is expressly authorized by the Constitution, and tirelessly working to limit government, lower taxes and advocate free markets. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He and his wife, Carol, have five children and 17 grandchildren.

Paul believes we should slow emissions and stop subsidizing big oil companies to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. He encourages use of nuclear power as a good alternative energy source. He believes property rights are the foundation of environmental issues.
Paul opposes the war in Iraq and believes we are too much entangled in the affairs of other nations. He supports refocusing on securing America by bringing the troops home and conducting open trade, travel, communication and diplomacy abroad.
Paul is a strong supporter of the right to privacy and personal liberty, and would overturn the Patriot Act and restore habeas corpus. Ron Paul is against gun control. He believes the definition of marriage should be left to the states, but voted against gay adoptions in D.C.
Dr. Ron Paul believes in using legislation to make insurance more affordable. He opposes increasing FDA's legal powers, supports expanding the ability of Americans to use alternative medicine and new treatments and would ensure Americans receive truthful information about supplements and natural remedies.

Paul focuses on protecting and promoting home schools. He has a mixed record on public education, tending to lean toward fewer national standards. He voted against allowing vouchers in D.C. schools but in favor of vouchers for private and parochial schools on a national level.
Ron Paul would lower taxes, reduce government spending. He believes we must not let private banks (like the Federal Reserve), wasteful agencies, lobbyists, corporations on welfare and governments collecting foreign aid to continue increasing the size of the federal budget.

Wednesday-Thursday: Citizens Lobby Workshops for those who would like to lobby Congress on Friday the 11th
Friday: Lobbying your Congressman and Senators with your new found skills
Also Friday: Demonstrating in front of the Federal Reserve Building
And, Friday is the Marshal training for the special folks who signed up to help keep things humming along the march route as well as the rally.

Great news! Our plans are really coming along for the march and rally - we're lining up our speakers and entertainment right now. We have invited several Congressmen and authors (some best-selling) to speak about various subjects. Not only will you have the opportunity to stand up and show your representatives that you are paying attention, but you will have the opportunity to grow in your civic knowledge! Topics to be covered include the Federal Reserve, the economy, foreign policy, subversion of the Constitution, fascism and the impending North American Union, which, of course, includes the topics of illegal immigration, open borders, land confiscation in Texas for the NAFTA Superhighway, and more!

We're seeking 130 more volunteers for the position of Marshal. This position is highly important as it is not only required by law, but necessary to ensure the safety of each of our participants. Marshals will be well trained on the accessibility and location of resources, continuously communicating with participants and march coordinators, and maintaining a peaceful and positive environment in the face of objectors or infiltrators. Marshals must be able to react positively and with a calm demeanor in stressful situations and should be confident leading people in chants to keep the energy upbeat! Anyone with first aid or medical training would be a great addition as a marshal.
We know most of our volunteers will never have been as a march of this capacity, so don't worry, training session will be provided!
This is a great opportunity to make a HUGE difference at this march and will fulfill an important leadership role within our movement. And besides, it should be a ton of fun!

I'm voting for Ron Paul, even if the media doesn't recognize anyone but the spend-all Democrats that want to subsidize every corporation that fits their programs regardless of their stand on environmental issues,etc.

They expressed concern that Paul’s rallies have attracted multitudes of young people who are getting “their political education.” They want Republicans to pressure Paul to drop out now and stop his education rallies. This assignment was given to Thomas Foley, former U.S. House speaker.
The reasons Paul’s “education campaign” strikes fear into Trilateral hearts are obvious. Paul would refuse to surrender an ounce of U.S. sovereignty to an international organization and TC wants world government.
Paul would immediately bring U.S. troops home from Iraq, Afghanistan and from 130 UN “peacekeeping” missions around the globe. TC wants to enjoy war profiteering and global power. Paul would abolish the federal income tax while the TC wants to pile on a global tax payable to the UN.
The formal agenda was loaded with everything Paul and American patriots detest: higher taxes, more foreign giveaways, more immigration, both legal and illegal, into the United States and “engaging Iran,” among others."
